Hotel car service in Toronto and at the world's best-known hotels
A hotel is more than a bed. For many travellers it is the first and last address of a trip: the place where luggage is taken, where a meeting is held, where a car should be waiting at six in the morning. A good hotel car service understands that, and treats the hotel's front door as the real destination. It knows which entrance suits which vehicle, how long the doorman takes to bring a trolley, and what the street outside looks like on the night of a concert.
Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service with its home desk in Toronto, and this hub gathers its hotel pages in one place. Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario are operated from the Toronto desk with the Enroutz.ca fleet and chauffeurs. Everywhere else, the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner and is booked, confirmed and invoiced by the Toronto desk: one booking, one confirmation, one invoice and one point of contact, around the clock. This hotel car service toronto hub starts with the city's own luxury and meeting hotels and then turns to iconic hotels abroad.
How does a hotel transfer with Enroutz.ca work?

You enter your flight or train details and the hotel's name in the online booker. The desk confirms a fixed fare and the vehicle class in writing. A chauffeur tracks your flight, meets you on arrival, takes you to the hotel's entrance and helps with luggage. The booker shows the exact fare before you pay.
The detail that makes the difference is coordination. For airport pickups, flights are tracked, and 60 minutes of waiting is included after an international landing and 30 minutes after a domestic one. Other pickups include 15 minutes. A name-board meet-and-greet inside arrivals can be added, with an alias on the board if you prefer privacy. Child, toddler and booster seats can be requested at booking, and most vehicles carry Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers.
Toronto's luxury and meeting hotels
Each of the pages below explains one address in detail: where it is, how far it is from the airports, how arrivals work and what is happening nearby. Facts such as street addresses, room counts and ratings come from each hotel's own website, and where a detail has not been confirmed we leave it out rather than guess.

- Fairmont Royal York: Front Street West, directly across from Union Station.
- Four Seasons Toronto: Yorkville, north of the downtown core.
- The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto: Wellington Street West, in the Entertainment District.
- Shangri-La Toronto: University Avenue.
- Park Hyatt Toronto: Yorkville, at Avenue Road and Bloor Street.
- St. Regis Toronto: the Financial District.
- W Toronto: Bloor Street East.
- Hotel X Toronto: Exhibition Place.
- Westin Harbour Castle: the waterfront and its conference centre.
- Sheraton Centre Toronto: Queen Street West, a convention hotel.
- InterContinental Toronto Centre: Front Street, near the convention centre.
- Pearson airport hotels: the airport strip.
The hotels' own details are best read on their websites. The Fairmont Royal York site, for example, describes the hotel as a landmark since its opening in 1929 and as directly across from Union Station. The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto site states 263 guest rooms and gives its distances to the two Toronto airports. The Shangri-La Toronto site states 202 rooms and suites.
Hotel-to-airport times in Toronto
The airport figures below are approximate, measured by road, and based on typical conditions. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.

| Hotel area | Pearson (YYZ), distance | Usual time to Pearson | Billy Bishop (YTZ), distance | Usual time to Billy Bishop |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Union Station and Front Street | About 27 km | 30–50 minutes | About 3 km | 10–20 minutes |
| Entertainment District (Wellington Street) | About 28 km | 30–50 minutes | About 2 km | 10–15 minutes |
| University Avenue | About 27 km | 30–50 minutes | About 3 km | 10–20 minutes |
| Financial District | About 27 km | 30–50 minutes | About 3 km | 10–20 minutes |
| Yorkville | About 30 km | 35–60 minutes | About 5 km | 15–30 minutes |
| Waterfront (Harbourfront) | About 28 km | 30–55 minutes | About 2 km | 10–15 minutes |
| Exhibition Place | About 24 km | 25–45 minutes | About 4 km | 10–20 minutes |
| Pearson airport strip | 1–5 km | 5–15 minutes | About 30 km | 35–60 minutes |
Two of those figures come directly from a hotel's website: the Ritz-Carlton states 28.0 km to Pearson and 2.0 km to Billy Bishop. The rest are our approximations. Peak periods add time, and the evening peak outbound from the core can be heavier than the morning one. Toronto's winter weather can add more.
Downtown, Yorkville and the waterfront: which district for which trip
Toronto is easier to choose a hotel in if you know what each district is good for.

- Union Station and Front Street: the rail hub, the convention centre and the stadium district. Good for conferences, the UP Express and arrivals by train. See Union Station.
- Entertainment District: theatres, the arena, restaurants and the TIFF centre. Busy at night.
- Financial District: Bay Street towers. The first choice for banking and law clients. Our Toronto business travel guide covers timing.
- Yorkville: boutiques, galleries and quiet streets near the Royal Ontario Museum.
- Waterfront: the harbour, ferry terminal and the island airport.
- Exhibition Place: the Enercare Centre and event venues. See Enercare Centre.
- Airport strip: hotels close to Pearson for early flights, trade shows at Toronto Congress Centre and The International Centre.
The Destination Toronto visitor site groups the city into City Centre, Midtown and other areas and is a handy companion when deciding.
Comparing the ways to get from Pearson to a downtown hotel
The right choice depends on luggage, time of day and the number of travellers. This is an honest comparison.
| Option | Typical time to downtown | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express train | About 25–28 minutes to Union Station | Fixed public fare | Solo travellers with light bags; fastest at rush hour |
| TTC buses and subway | Longer, with transfers | Lowest | Budget travellers with little luggage |
| Taxi | About 30–50 minutes | Metered | Spontaneous arrivals |
| App rideshare | About 30–50 minutes plus pickup wait | Surge-priced at peak | Flexible plans without a fixed schedule |
| Hotel shuttle | Varies; some hotels offer one for Billy Bishop only | Often complimentary | Passengers on those routes |
| Rental car | About 30–50 minutes | Daily rate plus hotel parking | Travellers continuing beyond the city |
| Pre-booked chauffeur | About 30–50 minutes | Fixed fare via booker | Groups, families, heavy luggage and late arrivals |
The UP Express operator's site gives Pearson to downtown as 28 minutes, and the Toronto Transit Commission site lists subway service alerts. For a solo traveller with one bag, the train is hard to beat at rush hour. For a family, a group, a late arrival or a client you want to impress, a chauffeur removes the second leg and the wait.
Iconic hotels around the world
Our worldwide hotel pages follow the same pattern as the Toronto ones: location, access, airports, local rules and what to expect on arrival. In each city, the ride is delivered by a local chauffeur partner and booked through the Toronto desk.
- The Plaza, New York: Fifth Avenue and Central Park South.
- The Savoy, London: the Strand.
- Ritz Paris: Place Vendôme.
- Burj Al Arab, Dubai: Jumeirah.
- Atlantis The Royal, Dubai: Palm Jumeirah.
- Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi.
- Bellagio, Las Vegas: the Strip.
- Fontainebleau Miami Beach: Collins Avenue.
Approximate distances and times from each to its nearest major airport are below. Miles are given for the United States and the United Kingdom.
| Hotel | Airport | Distance (about) | Usual drive time |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Plaza, New York | JFK | 27 km (17 miles) | 45–90 minutes |
| The Savoy, London | Heathrow (LHR) | 24 km (15 miles) | 50–90 minutes |
| Ritz Paris | Paris CDG | 30 km (19 miles) | 40–75 minutes |
| Burj Al Arab, Dubai | Dubai DXB | 28 km (17 miles) | 25–45 minutes |
| Atlantis The Royal, Dubai | Dubai DXB | 40 km (25 miles) | 35–60 minutes |
| Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi | Abu Dhabi AUH | 35–40 km (22–25 miles) | 30–50 minutes |
| Bellagio, Las Vegas | Harry Reid LAS | 8 km (5 miles) | 15–35 minutes |
| Fontainebleau Miami Beach | Miami MIA | 20 km (12 miles) | 25–50 minutes |
Those numbers will shift with the hour. In New York, the Van Wyck Expressway is the classic bottleneck on the way to JFK. In Dubai, Thursday and Friday evenings change the pattern. For the airports themselves, see New York JFK, London Heathrow, Paris CDG, Dubai DXB, Abu Dhabi, Las Vegas and Miami.
Travelling from Toronto: one booking, one invoice
A Toronto traveller who flies to New York, London or Dubai can book both ends of a trip at the same desk. A Toronto chauffeur collects you at home or the office, a local partner meets you on arrival, and the desk keeps a single record of the itinerary. For Americans, Europeans and travellers from the Gulf arriving in Toronto, the process works in the other direction. How the worldwide network works explains the vetting: partner vehicles are no more than four model years old, and Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach vehicles no more than seven. We never claim to own vehicles or offices abroad.
Trips inside the United States are delivered by US-licensed partners, because Canadian vehicles cannot do domestic point-to-point work there. Cross-border Toronto-to-USA trips run from Toronto. See the USA hub, Europe hub and Middle East hub.
Hotels and conventions: moving a delegation
Meeting hotels often host groups that arrive in waves. A conference with two hundred delegates can generate flights from a dozen cities across two days. The sensible approach is to share the arrival manifest with the desk, request a dispatcher on site if the volume justifies one, and agree on meeting points with the hotel and the venue. Our pages on meetings, incentives and conferences, trade show transportation and the events hub explain the options. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre page lists the largest downtown venue.
Doormen, bell staff and the arrival at the door
Luxury hotels run their entrances with their own staff and their own rules. Chauffeurs arrive at the door the hotel prefers, wait where the hotel asks and do not block the entrance. If your vehicle is a tall SUV or a Sprinter, ask us to check whether the hotel's valet or garage has a height limit: the Fairmont Royal York's site, for example, states a limit of 6'4" (about 1.93 m) for its valet entrance. We coordinate the point of arrival with the hotel before you travel.
Tipping practice varies by country. In Toronto, guidance for private drivers is on our private driver Toronto page, and each country hub covers local norms.
Vehicles, luggage and extras
Classes are listed with "or similar", and the exact model is confirmed at booking.
- Executive Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CT6/Lyriq or similar): up to 3 passengers, 2 large and 2 cabin bags.
- First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar): up to 3 passengers, same bag allowance, more rear-seat room.
- Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar): up to 6 passengers and 5–6 large bags.
- Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter): up to 12 passengers and 12 bags.
Mini-coach and coach (20–56 seats), Maybach, Rolls-Royce, stretch limousine and armoured vehicles are available on request, with availability confirmed at booking. See the fleet page.
Discretion, accounts and cancellation
Chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are signed on request. Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service and not a security company: there are no armed drivers and no bodyguards, and we work alongside a client's own security team. For VIP bookings, names can be replaced by aliases. Corporate accounts come with monthly invoicing; see corporate accounts.
Cancellation is measured from the scheduled pickup time: more than 72 hours' notice carries no charge, 72 hours or less 10%, 48 hours or less 50%, and 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%. Large events and conventions may carry a different deadline, stated on your confirmation.
Start with the right page
If you already know your hotel, choose its page above. If you are comparing, begin with the airports hub for airport rules and the black car service in Toronto page for the city overview. Travellers arriving by train can use the train stations hub. Enter any pickup worldwide in the booker, and the desk confirms a fixed quote.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book a car to any hotel, or only the ones listed?
Any hotel. The pages above are detailed guides to well-known addresses, but the online booker accepts any pickup or drop-off worldwide, and the desk confirms a fixed quote. Outside Toronto, a local chauffeur partner delivers the ride.
How far are Toronto's downtown hotels from Pearson?
About 27–30 km, depending on the district, and usually 30–60 minutes by road. The Ritz-Carlton's website, for example, gives 28.0 km. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.
Is the UP Express a better choice than a chauffeur?
For one traveller with a small bag, often yes, especially at rush hour: the operator says it takes 28 minutes from Pearson to downtown. A chauffeur is better for groups, heavy luggage, late arrivals and hotels that are not beside Union Station.
Do you offer a shuttle between Billy Bishop and a hotel?
The Fairmont Royal York's website describes a complimentary shuttle between Billy Bishop and the hotel. The Ritz-Carlton's says it provides no shuttle. We offer private chauffeured transfers, with the arrangement confirmed in your booking.
Does Enroutz.ca own cars in New York, London or Dubai?
No. Outside Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, rides are delivered by vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partners and are booked, confirmed and invoiced by the Toronto desk. Partner vehicles are no more than four model years old.
How do I book a hotel transfer from abroad?
Use the online booker, enter your pickup anywhere in the world and the hotel as the destination, and the desk confirms a fixed quote. You receive one confirmation and one invoice, and one desk handles any change.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
The chauffeur tracks the flight. On international arrivals, 60 minutes of waiting is included from the time of landing, and on domestic arrivals, 30 minutes. On other pickups, 15 minutes is included. Tell the desk about major changes and it adjusts the pickup.
Can I book several hotels in one trip?
Yes. Give the desk the full itinerary, with dates and addresses, and it books each leg with the right local partner. You receive one invoice for the whole trip.
Can the chauffeur wait if I am attending a meeting at the hotel?
Yes. An hourly chauffeur stays with you between stops, and a one-way transfer can include waiting time. Give the desk the schedule, and it confirms the vehicle and the fixed fare in writing before you travel.
