How do I book a limo service in Edmonton?
Enter your pickup, drop-off, date and vehicle class in the online booker. It shows the exact fixed fare for your addresses before you pay. A vetted, licensed and commercially insured Edmonton chauffeur partner drives the trip, and the Enroutz.ca desk confirms and invoices it as one booking.
Edmonton is the capital of Alberta and the largest city in the north of the province. Visitors arrive for hockey at the downtown arena, for the shopping and attractions of West Edmonton Mall, for business, for family and as the gateway to Jasper National Park. This page explains the car service from the traveller's side: the airport run, the downtown core, the mall, the long drive west to Jasper, and what to expect from a professional chauffeur when the temperature drops.
Enroutz.ca is a Toronto-based chauffeur service. Our own fleet and desk operate in Toronto, the GTA and Ontario. In Alberta the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner, and the booking, confirmation and invoice are handled by the Enroutz.ca desk. One booking, one confirmation, one invoice and one contact who answers around the clock. If you are flying from Toronto to Edmonton, our desk can arrange the Toronto pickup and the Edmonton arrival on the same invoice.
Edmonton International Airport (YEG) to downtown: distance, time and route
The Edmonton International Airport states on its directions page that it sits about 30 km south of downtown Edmonton along Alberta Provincial Highway 2, and that the drive from downtown is typically about 30 minutes. From Highway 2 you take Exit 522 to Airport Road. The airport's mailing address is 1000 Airport Road, Edmonton International Airport. Allow more time at the weekday rush, and more again in snow.

That 30 km is the number that surprises first-time visitors. Edmonton's airport is not a short hop from the city centre like some Canadian airports. It is a prairie airport with its own on-site hotels, including the Fairfield by Marriott YEG and the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel, and the airport describes itself as the largest major Canadian airport by land area and as Canada's fifth-busiest by passenger traffic. A chauffeur transfer to downtown is therefore a real drive, not a formality, and it is worth planning around your flight time. You can read more about the arrivals process on the Edmonton YEG airport page.
If you plan to continue to Calgary, the airport's directions page gives about 2.5 hours between YEG and Calgary. That is the same highway, Highway 2, running south. See Calgary car service for the other end of that trip.
Edmonton airport transfer options compared

| Option | Typical time YEG to downtown | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private chauffeur | About 30 minutes in normal traffic | Fixed fare via booker | Late arrivals, luggage, groups, business travellers, anyone who wants a confirmed vehicle |
| Taxi | About 30 minutes | Metered | Short notice, no booking; check the fare estimate before you leave the kerb |
| Rideshare | About 30 minutes | Surge-priced at peaks | Solo travellers with light luggage who are comfortable with app pricing |
| Public transit (Route 747) | About 24 minutes to Century Park Transit Centre, then a transfer | Public transit fare, the lowest cost | Budget travellers going to the south side; downtown needs a connection |
| Rental car | About 30 minutes plus counter time | Daily rate plus fuel | Travellers exploring beyond the city for several days |
| Hotel shuttle | Varies | Often free for guests at on-site hotels | Staying at the Fairfield or Renaissance at the airport |
The City of Edmonton says the Route 747 bus takes about 24 minutes to Century Park Transit Centre, where you connect to the LRT or other routes. For a solo traveller with one bag and no deadline that is the lowest-cost way into the city and a perfectly sensible choice. A private chauffeur is the better fit when you carry a lot of luggage, arrive late, travel with a family, need to be at a meeting on time or are going straight to a hotel on the other side of the river.
Downtown Edmonton, ICE District and Rogers Place
Most visitors who stay downtown are within a few minutes of Rogers Place. The arena is in the ICE District at 10220 104 Avenue NW and is home to the Edmonton Oilers and the Edmonton Oil Kings. It also hosts concerts and major events. At the time of writing its own calendar lists the Canadian Finals Rodeo from 7 to 10 October 2026, PBR Canada National Finals on 13 and 14 November, and the 2027 IIHF World Junior Championship from 26 December 2026 to 5 January 2027. Check Rogers Place for the current schedule.

Event nights change how a car service should work:
- Arrive early. Streets around the arena fill with pedestrians and closures an hour or more before puck drop or doors.
- Agree the pickup point. Your chauffeur may use a nearby side street or hotel entrance rather than the arena doors. Confirm where on your booking.
- Plan the exit. The best strategy after a game is a short walk to a clear street where the car waits, not a pickup at the arena door.
If you need transport for a corporate group attending a game or concert, the event transportation service stages several vehicles against your schedule. For hosted client evenings, the same desk can stay on standby through the event.
West Edmonton Mall and the south side
West Edmonton Mall is at 8882 170 Street NW. The mall's own site lists Galaxyland, World Waterpark, Ice Palace, Marine Life and DRIVE Go Karts among its 16 attractions, along with more than 800 stores and services and more than 100 dining options. The Fantasyland Hotel is on site, and the WEM Inn is across the street, so many guests stay close to the attractions.
For a car service, the mall has two notable features. First, it is large enough that you should name the exact entrance when you book; the mall has multiple doors and a hotel entrance. Second, it is a family destination, so child, toddler and booster seats matter. They are available on request at booking and are worth adding when you book, not at the door.
A typical family request is a pickup at the airport, a transfer to the hotel, and a return to the airport at the end of the stay. A typical corporate request is the reverse: a transfer from the airport to a meeting downtown and an evening return. Both are straightforward in the booker.
Edmonton to Jasper: the long drive west
Jasper National Park lies about 366 km west of Edmonton on Highway 16, the Yellowhead Highway, a drive of roughly four hours without stops according to Jasper tourism's driving-distance sheet. A private chauffeur is a comfortable way to do the trip as a day tour or one-way transfer, especially in winter, when the highway can be slower.

Three points to know before you go:
- A pass is required. Parks Canada and Jasper tourism state that visitors to Jasper National Park need a valid national park pass. Regular fees have applied since 8 September 2026, after the summer free-admission promotion ended. You can buy a pass online, at the park gates or at the visitor centre.
- The town is in recovery. Parks Canada lists a Jasper recovery section on its park page. Check the Jasper National Park page for road updates, bulletins and what is open before you travel. We do not guess at closures.
- Allow the day. Four hours each way is eight hours of driving. If you want time in the park, plan an overnight or a very early start.

Winter in Edmonton: what a chauffeur does differently
Edmonton winters are long and cold, and a competent chauffeur works with the weather. Expect extra time for snow and a pickup at the nearest safe kerb, not the nearest door. The City and the province publish road-condition information, and for highways outside the city the Alberta service 511 Alberta shows closures, incidents and road-surface conditions.
For Highway 2 and Highway 16 trips in winter, plan buffer time for any fixed engagement. Flight tracking helps in the other direction: if your plane is late because of weather, the chauffeur adjusts to the actual landing time. On international arrivals we include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing; on domestic arrivals, 30 minutes.
Vehicles for Edmonton
| Vehicle class | Passengers | Luggage | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CT6/Lyriq or similar) | Up to 3 | 2 large and 2 cabin bags | Airport and business transfers |
| First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar) | Up to 3 | 2 large and 2 cabin bags | Executives, client evenings, special occasions |
| Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar) | Up to 6 | 5 to 6 large bags | Families, winter luggage, Jasper trips |
| Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter) | Up to 12 | 12 bags | Teams, conferences, event groups |
All vehicles are "or similar", and the exact model is confirmed at booking. Partner vehicles are no more than four model years old, with Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach accepted up to seven; availability for those marques is confirmed at booking. Most vehicles carry Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers. Stretch limousines and larger mini-coaches and coaches of 20 to 56 seats can be arranged on request. The fleet page has the full range.
Corporate travel, meetings and events in Edmonton
Business travellers in Edmonton often need a vehicle for more than a transfer. A typical day might include an airport pickup, two downtown meetings, a site visit on the south side and an evening dinner. A chauffeur booked by the hour keeps the vehicle at your disposal, waits between appointments and handles the route, which is a more efficient use of a day than three separate rides.
For regular travellers, corporate accounts offer monthly invoicing, and the corporate chauffeur service page explains how rides are consolidated and approved. Chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are signed on request. Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service, not a security company: there are no armed drivers or bodyguards, and we work alongside your own security team when you have one.
Meet and greet at Edmonton Airport
Every airport pickup includes flight tracking. Free waiting after landing is 60 minutes on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic flights. If you would like the chauffeur to meet you inside arrivals with a name board, add that at booking; an alias name can appear on the board for privacy. Otherwise the chauffeur contacts you and directs you to the vehicle. The airport also provides a Cell Phone Waiting lot for drivers collecting passengers, so the chauffeur is not circling the terminal. See meet and greet service for details.
Planning an Edmonton trip from Toronto
If you are flying from Toronto to Edmonton, the booking can start at your Toronto address: a pickup at home or at Pearson, a chauffeur in Edmonton at arrival, and a return on the same invoice. The Pearson Airport limo page covers the Toronto side. For Canada-wide itineraries, use the Canada hub and the Alberta hub.
How booking and changes work
You enter the pickup address, drop-off, date, time and vehicle in the booker, which shows the all-in fare before payment. The desk then confirms the partner, vehicle and chauffeur details. Changes are handled by the desk around the clock.
Cancellation terms are measured from the scheduled pickup time: more than 72 hours' notice no charge; 72 hours or less 10%; 48 hours or less 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%. Large events may carry a different deadline, stated on your confirmation.
Frequently asked questions
How far is Edmonton International Airport from downtown Edmonton?
The airport states it is about 30 km south of downtown along Alberta Highway 2, and the drive is typically about 30 minutes. Allow longer in rush hour or snow. The booker shows the exact fare for your address before you confirm.
How much is a limo service in Edmonton?
Every price is quoted in the online booker for your exact addresses and vehicle before payment, so there is no surprise at the end of the ride. Fares are fixed, not metered, and include the chauffeur and the vehicle. Enter the airport, hotel or address to see the number.
Is there a limo or car service from Edmonton to Jasper?
Yes. Jasper is about 366 km west on Highway 16, roughly four hours each way. You can book a one-way transfer or a day trip. Visitors to Jasper National Park need a national park pass, and you should check Parks Canada for current road updates before travelling.
Can a chauffeur take me to Rogers Place and wait?
Yes. A car can drop you at the ICE District, wait nearby and collect you after the event. The pickup point may differ from the arena doors on busy nights, so confirm it with the chauffeur. For a group, the event transportation service organises several vehicles.
Do you offer a car service to West Edmonton Mall?
Yes. The mall is at 8882 170 Street NW, and the airport run, hotel transfers and family trips are all bookable. Name the exact entrance or hotel when you book, because the mall has several doors.
Is the Edmonton airport bus a good alternative?
For a solo traveller with light luggage and no schedule pressure, Route 747 is the lowest-cost option. The City of Edmonton says it takes about 24 minutes to Century Park Transit Centre, where you connect onward. A chauffeur is better for luggage, families, late arrivals and fixed appointments.
What if my flight to Edmonton is delayed?
Flight tracking watches your real arrival time. Free waiting is 60 minutes after landing on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic flights, and the chauffeur adjusts to the actual time. If the delay is long, the desk contacts you with options.
What is the cancellation policy?
More than 72 hours' notice is free. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show it is 100%, measured from the scheduled pickup time. Large events can carry a different deadline, shown on your confirmation.
