The Metro Toronto Convention Centre, usually shortened to MTCC, is Toronto's downtown convention venue, and it is split across two buildings that a first-time delegate can easily confuse. A Metro Toronto Convention Centre car service from Enroutz.ca removes that confusion: your chauffeur is told which building, which level and which street entrance before the car leaves, and your pickup is timed to the session or the flight, not to a guess.
Where do you go for a Metro Toronto Convention Centre car service pickup?
The MTCC has two buildings. The North Building is at 255 Front Street West and the South Building is at 222 Bremner Boulevard. Check your event's registration email for the building, then enter it in the booker. The chauffeur is briefed on the correct street frontage and garage entrance before arrival.
Both addresses come from the centre's own visitor information. The two buildings are reached by car from different streets, which is why the exact building matters when you book a chauffeur service to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. If your event uses both buildings, say so in the booking notes and the desk will plan the stops in the order of your agenda.
Enroutz.ca is operated from the Toronto desk with its own fleet and chauffeurs, so a trip to the MTCC is not handed to a partner. Everything in this guide applies to any arrival in the city: a morning flight from New York, an overnight arrival from London, or a transfer from a hotel two blocks away.
North Building or South Building: what the difference means for your driver
The North Building is at 255 Front Street West, on Front Street, and the centre's own directions send pedestrians from Union Station west along Front Street to reach it. The South Building is at 222 Bremner Boulevard, and the same directions send walkers west along Bremner Boulevard. In practice, your event badge decides which one you need, and a few large shows use both.

The centre's published driving directions show how different the approaches are. For the North Building, drivers arriving from the Gardiner Expressway leave at Spadina Avenue, head north, turn right on Front Street, right on Simcoe Street and then right into the garage. For the South Building, the exit is York Street, north two lights to Bremner Boulevard, a left turn, a left on Lower Simcoe Street and a right into the garage. A chauffeur who drives this route daily follows it without hesitating, and a visitor with a rental car and a phone map often circles the block.
Those are the garage routes. For a client pickup, a curbside stop on Front Street or Bremner Boulevard can be quicker than going underground, and your chauffeur will tell you which is practical on the day.
How far is the MTCC from Pearson, Billy Bishop and Union Station?
Distances matter more than people expect, because the venue sits in the middle of the downtown core where a short trip can still take a while at the wrong hour.

- Toronto Pearson to the MTCC: about 27 km (17 miles), usually 30 to 50 minutes by car, longer on a weekday between 4 pm and 6:30 pm. The route follows Highway 427 to the Gardiner Expressway, exactly as the centre's own directions describe for drivers coming from the airport.
- Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to the MTCC: about 3 km (2 miles), usually 10 to 20 minutes. See Billy Bishop airport transfers for that airport.
- Union Station to the MTCC: a walk of a few minutes along Front Street, or indoors through the SkyWalk. By car it is a very short hop, but a car is only worth it with heavy luggage or a client who should not be walking.
- Metro Toronto Convention Centre to Exhibition Place: about 4 km (2.5 miles), usually 10 to 25 minutes, relevant if your week splits between the Enercare Centre and downtown.
The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm. For the airport leg specifically, see the Pearson Airport limo page and the Toronto airport transfer guide.
MTCC ground-transport options compared
An honest comparison first: for many delegates the train is the right answer.

| Option | Typical time from Pearson | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express to Union Station, then SkyWalk | About 25 to 30 minutes on the train, plus a short indoor walk | Lowest of the options | One carry-on bag, a flexible schedule, anyone who likes to walk |
| TTC subway or bus | 60 minutes or more with transfers | Lowest | Light travellers, local visitors |
| Taxi at Pearson | 30 to 50 minutes | Metered | A single traveller who does not mind queuing |
| Rideshare | 30 to 60 minutes | Surge-priced at busy hours | Casual trips with no schedule pressure |
| Hotel shuttle | Varies | Often included | Delegates whose hotel runs one |
| Drive and park | 30 to 50 minutes | Parking is paid by the day | Self-drivers with a car already in the city |
| Private chauffeur from Enroutz.ca | 30 to 50 minutes | Fixed fare via the booker | Groups, executives, speakers, heavy luggage, tight agendas |
If you are travelling alone with a single bag and nowhere to be for an hour, the UP Express is the better choice and we will say so. The centre itself describes an air-rail link to Pearson of about 25 minutes, and UP Express quotes 28 minutes for the ride. A chauffeur earns its place when luggage, a team, a speaker slot or a client is involved.
The UP Express and SkyWalk route, step by step
The centre's own directions explain the indoor route. From the Union Station UP platform, follow the SkyWalk, take the elevator or stairs down to Lower Simcoe Street and walk west on Front Street to the North Building's main entrance. It is straightforward in daylight and with a light bag. It is less pleasant in winter with two cases, or at 11 pm after a long-haul arrival.

Union Station also has subway, GO Transit and VIA Rail service, and our Union Station Toronto page covers pickups from the rail concourse. If your itinerary mixes train and car, a chauffeur can meet you at the station rather than the airport.
What the centre is hosting right now
The centre lists its upcoming events publicly. As shown on the centre's site on 9 October 2026, the calendar includes a small business summit in the North Building on 13 October, a trade-only event called MSToronto2026 across both buildings from 20 to 23 October, and the public Art Toronto fair in the North Building from 29 October to 1 November. In February, the Canadian International AutoShow takes the venue from 12 to 21 February 2027, with Media Day on 11 February, according to the show's own site. Our guide to the Canadian International AutoShow covers that week in detail.
The mix is wide: trade-only conferences, public fairs, and evening theatre performances in the North Building. Each has a different arrival pattern. A trade conference delivers a surge of cars at 7:30 am and again at 5:30 pm. A public fair brings families in the middle of the day. An evening theatre show produces a wave of departures at the interval and again at the close.
Delegates, speakers and VIP arrivals
For a speaker or a senior executive, the transfer is part of the event rehearsal. A few practices help:
- Share the session time and the building. The chauffeur plans backwards from your slot, not from the registration opening.
- Ask for a name-board meet-and-greet at Pearson. Inside arrivals, an add-on, with an alias name on the board if you prefer privacy.
- Allow for badge pickup. Registration queues are longest in the 30 minutes before the first keynote.
- Name a single point of contact. Corporate teams can book on a corporate account with monthly invoicing.
- Tell us about plus-one luggage. Exhibit materials and display kit fit differently in a Luxury SUV or an Executive Sprinter than in a sedan.
Flight tracking is included on every airport pickup, and there are 60 minutes of free waiting after landing on international arrivals, 30 minutes domestic, 15 minutes on other pickups. Discretion is standard: chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are signed on request.
Garages, clearances and what fits where
The centre's garages have limited height. The North garage clearance is 1.9 m and the South garage clearance is 2.0 m, and the centre advises about 1,700 indoor spaces across both. A Mercedes-Benz E-Class or S-Class sedan passes under those barriers without trouble. A tall Luxury SUV is close to the limit, and an Executive Sprinter is taller than either barrier, so those vehicles use the street frontage for loading instead of the garage.
None of this is a problem if it is planned. It becomes a problem when a group of eleven arrives in a Sprinter and the driver is told to enter the garage at the last minute. When you book a group, name the building and the headcount, and the desk will confirm the loading point. The fleet page lists capacity for each class: the Executive Sedan and the First Class Sedan carry up to three passengers, the Luxury SUV up to six and the Executive Sprinter up to twelve.
Chauffeur service for conferences and incentive groups
Corporate planners use the MTCC for conferences, product launches and annual meetings, and they usually need more than one car. The desk can stage multiple vehicles across several arrival waves, assign a coordinator to the group and issue a single confirmation and one invoice. Our meetings, incentives and conferences service explains the arrangement, and trade show transportation covers exhibitor logistics such as freight timing and booth setup days.
Large events and conventions can carry a different cancellation deadline, which is stated on the confirmation. Standard terms elsewhere are simple: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%, measured from the scheduled pickup time.
Hotels, dinners and late evenings
Many delegates stay close to the centre, but dinners are often elsewhere. Yorkville is a short drive north, and the waterfront is south. Our Toronto hotels hub covers the major properties and how pickups work at each. For evenings, an hourly booking works well: one car, one chauffeur, several stops, and a return timed to the end of the dinner. Our hourly chauffeur page explains how it works.
If you need a general overview of the city, our flagship black car service in Toronto page covers neighbourhoods and booking.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a car service to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre cost?
The fare depends on the pickup address, vehicle class and time. Enter your details in the online booker and it shows the exact all-in fare, fixed and quoted before you pay. There are no hidden extras added on the day.
Which entrance should my chauffeur use at the MTCC?
It depends on the building. The North Building is at 255 Front Street West and the South Building is at 222 Bremner Boulevard. Tell us the building and your session time when you book, and the chauffeur is briefed on the street frontage or garage entrance.
How long does it take to drive from Pearson airport to the MTCC?
The distance is about 27 km (17 miles) and the drive is usually 30 to 50 minutes. Weekday rush hours, roughly 4 pm to 6:30 pm, can add considerably. The chauffeur tracks your flight, so landing times that shift do not matter.
Is the UP Express a better choice than a private car?
Sometimes. If you have one bag and no deadline, the UP Express to Union Station and the indoor SkyWalk walk to the North Building is quick and economical. A private car suits groups, speakers, heavy luggage and arrivals after a long flight.
Can a Sprinter or large SUV enter the MTCC garages?
The North garage clearance is 1.9 m and the South is 2.0 m, according to the centre. Sedans fit. Tall SUVs sit close to the limit and a Sprinter is taller, so those vehicles load on the street. The desk confirms the loading point in advance.
Can you pick up several delegates from different flights?
Yes. Each flight is tracked separately and each pickup is timed to its own landing. For larger groups, the desk can coordinate multiple vehicles and send one confirmation and one invoice through a corporate account.
Do you offer meet and greet at the airport for convention guests?
Yes, as an add-on. A chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board. An alias can be used on the board for privacy. Without the add-on, the chauffeur meets you at the agreed point and your waiting time starts after landing.
What if my event runs late or finishes early?
Tell the desk. Pickups from an event are timed to the published finish, and the desk can adjust if sessions overrun. For large events, a different cancellation deadline may apply, and it is stated on your confirmation.
Do you provide car seats for children?
Child, toddler and booster seats are available on request at booking. Most vehicles also carry water, Wi-Fi and phone chargers, but ask the desk if a specific item matters to you.
