What does a Nice and Monaco chauffeur service from Enroutz.ca include?

A Nice and Monaco chauffeur service from Enroutz.ca is a pre-booked private car and driver: a flight-tracked pickup at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, a transfer to Monaco, Cannes or the villa you have rented, and standby service in event weeks. The fare is fixed and quoted before you pay.

The Riviera is a narrow strip of coast with one main road along it, a regional railway, a few motorway links, and a very large amount of demand during the major events. The airport at Nice is the gateway for Monaco and Cannes, and nearly every visitor to the principality, the Croisette or the villas of the hills passes through it.

Enroutz.ca is a Toronto-based black car service. On the Côte d'Azur, your ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner, while our desk books, confirms and invoices it. If you are flying from Toronto to Nice, you deal with one desk in your own time zone, with a fixed fare and a named point of contact whatever the hour.

Booking a Nice and Monaco chauffeur from Toronto, the USA or the Gulf

Enter any Riviera pickup in the online booker, choose the vehicle class, and the desk confirms a fixed quote for your exact addresses. What you see in the booker before paying is what you are charged.

Dramatic aerial view of a city at night, captured from an airplane in flight
Dramatic aerial view of a city at night, captured from an airplane in flight

Give us the flight number, the number of passengers and bags, and the exact name and address of the hotel, residence or yacht berth. For a villa in the hills, send a map pin as well, because some roads are narrow and private. The partner chauffeur sees the same record. Vehicles are capped at four model years of age, extended to seven for Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach.

Nice is six hours ahead of Toronto for most of the year. If you arrive on an overnight flight from North America, the morning is the usual window, and hotels may not release rooms until the afternoon. The desk can plan a first stop for breakfast or a meeting. Our worldwide chauffeur network page explains the model in full, and the Europe hub lists the other cities we cover.

Nice Côte d'Azur Airport: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2

Nice Côte d'Azur has two terminals. The airport's own Terminal 2 page lists the airlines that use it, which include Air Canada, Air France, Delta, easyJet, Emirates, Etihad, KLM and Saudi Arabian Airlines, among others. Terminal 1 handles the remaining carriers. Always confirm your terminal on your airline's booking record, because airlines can move between terminals.

For a pickup, the useful details are:

  • Your confirmation names the terminal, and the chauffeur tracks your flight to follow a change of gate or terminal.
  • The airport lists its taxi ranks at both terminals, which is why a pre-booked chauffeur does not have to compete with them in a long queue.
  • Arrivals from outside the Schengen area clear passport control first, and we do not promise a fixed time out of the building because queues vary.
  • Waiting is free for the first 60 minutes after an international landing.

If you prefer a driver with a name board in the hall, choose the meet-and-greet service; the board can carry an alias. The terminal-by-terminal guide is on our Nice airport page, and the airports hub lists the others.

From Nice Airport to Monaco, Cannes and the coast

Monaco is about 30 km (19 miles) from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport and Cannes is about 30 km (19 miles) in the other direction. Traffic on the coast road and the motorway decides everything, so the times below are typical ranges for ordinary days rather than guarantees.

Nice Airport to Monaco compared: taxi, helicopter, train and chauffeur

Monaco is a small place, but getting there costs a decision. This is how the options compare.

The taxi tariffs come from the airport's taxi page, which lists 2026 flat fares including VAT but excluding supplements: 32 euros to Nice centre, 72 euros to Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, 85 euros to Cannes and 95 euros to Monaco. For a solo traveller on a flexible plan, a taxi or the train can be perfectly reasonable. A chauffeur earns the fare when the party is larger, the luggage is heavy, the timing is fixed, or you need the same vehicle at the villa door and again at the circuit gate.

Helicopter transfers operate between Nice and Monaco, and the airport's business aviation pages name Blade and Heli Air Monaco as the regular operators. They are a different kind of service from ours, and a chauffeur is the right complement on either end.

The Monaco Grand Prix in 2027

According to Formula 1's 2027 calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix is Round 8 and is scheduled for 4 to 6 June 2027. See the Formula 1 schedule for the current plan.

Monaco's circuit is built from public streets, so a race weekend changes how the whole principality moves. Streets on and around the track close, access typically depends on passes and checkpoints, and even a short drive can be impossible at certain hours. For principals, hospitality guests and sponsors, that makes a plan with the partner chauffeur essential. We collect your accreditation and hotel details at booking, agree drop-off points that match your pass, and set pickup times that respect the road closures. For a detailed event guide, see our Monaco Grand Prix page.

Large events may carry a different cancellation deadline, which is stated on the confirmation. Book early, because rooms and cars both sell out months ahead.

The Cannes Film Festival and Cannes Lions

The 80th Festival de Cannes is scheduled for 11 to 22 May 2027, according to the festival's official site. Cannes Lions follows from 21 to 25 June 2027 at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, per the Cannes Lions site.

Festival week concentrates thousands of guests into one promenade. Arrivals bunch at Nice airport on the opening weekend, hotels are full, and the roads around the Palais are controlled. We ask for your itinerary so the desk can time pickups for screenings, dinners and parties, and allow for the hours when the airport fills up on departure days.

Discretion is part of the job at events. The drivers do not photograph clients or post about trips, we sign NDAs on request, and we can coordinate with tour managers, publicists and a client's own security team; Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service, not a security company. Our Cannes Film Festival page and VIP chauffeur page go into the protocol.

Saint-Tropez, the hill villages and the coast

Saint-Tropez is the most popular onward trip from Nice. The Golfe de Saint-Tropez has its own small airport, which belongs to the same airport group as Nice and Cannes-Mandelieu, and the road along the coast is slow in summer. Give the desk the date and we quote the route length and time. Because the journey can take longer than guests expect, we recommend a fixed pickup time rather than an open-ended request.

Other popular drives include the hill villages above the coast and a day along the Corniche. The private tours with a driver page explains how an itinerary is planned, and our hourly chauffeur service works well for a day of lunch, a visit and a return.

Planning a day on the coast: hourly service, hotels and villas

Much of Riviera travel is not point to point. A day might begin with breakfast in Nice, take in a meeting in Monaco, a lunch in Cannes and a dinner in a hill village, with the car waiting at each stop. An hourly chauffeur is built for that rhythm: the driver stays with the vehicle, carries purchases to the boot and brings the car to the door when you appear.

For a hotel or villa arrival, give the desk the name of the property and a contact there. Gated residences often need the guest's name on a list before the car is admitted, and the chauffeur will confirm the entry procedure in advance. Corporate groups can organise this through a corporate account, and our event transportation page covers galas and dinners. For the wider catalogue of iconic hotels, see the hotels guide.

Private jets at Nice and Cannes-Mandelieu

Nice has a dedicated business aviation terminal of 1,510 square metres, opened in March 2010, with its own customs post, according to the airport's business aviation page. The airport lists three FBOs: AviaVIP, Signature Aviation and DC Aviation G-OPS. Cannes-Mandelieu is a separate airport in the same group. The chauffeur meets you at the FBO you are using, so tell us the operator and the tail number when you book. See our Nice private jet terminal chauffeur page and the private aviation hub for the way FBO pickups work.

Entry rules for travellers flying from Toronto

France is in the Schengen area, and Monaco's customs and immigration are handled by France, according to Global Affairs Canada. Canadians need no visa for tourist or business visits of up to 90 days, and the passport must be valid for three months beyond the planned departure from Schengen. ETIAS applications are not yet open, according to the France page of the same site. Passport holders from other countries should check with their own government.

Vehicles and extras

Sedans (Executive E-Class or similar, First Class S-Class or similar) carry 3 passengers and 2 large plus 2 cabin bags. The Luxury SUV carries 6 passengers and 5 to 6 large bags; the Executive Sprinter carries 12. Maybach, Rolls-Royce and stretch limousines are available on request, with availability confirmed at booking. Child seats are on request, and most vehicles carry Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers. See the fleet page.

Which terminal will I arrive at in Nice?

Nice has Terminals 1 and 2. Air Canada, Delta, Air France, KLM, easyJet and Emirates are among the airlines listed for Terminal 2. Your confirmation names the terminal.

How far is Cannes from Nice Airport?

About 30 km (19 miles), typically 30 to 50 minutes by car outside festival weeks.

Can you meet me at the private jet terminal in Nice?

Yes. Tell us the operator and the tail number. The chauffeur meets you at the FBO.

A helicopter is faster over the water and costs more; a car is better for luggage, larger groups and onward drives. We can coordinate the road legs on either side of a helicopter flight.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel more than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup and nothing is charged. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less, or a no-show, it is 100%. The Grand Prix, the Film Festival and other large events may carry a different deadline, and your confirmation states it.
