Every February, Toronto's convention district fills with new vehicles, press crews, dealers and families, and getting in and out of the area becomes part of the experience. Toronto auto show transportation is what Enroutz.ca provides for the executives, journalists, guests and visitors who would rather arrive composed than circle the blocks around Front Street looking for a place to stop.
The next show runs from 12 to 21 February 2027 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, with Media Day on 11 February 2027, according to the AutoShow's own website.
What is the best way to get to the Canadian International AutoShow?
The AutoShow is at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, 255 Front Street West for the North Building and 222 Bremner Boulevard for the South Building. Union Station connects directly by indoor SkyWalk. A private chauffeur from Pearson, about 27 km and usually 30 to 50 minutes, drops you at the right building. The booker shows the fixed fare first.
Which approach suits you depends on who you are. A press visitor on Media Day wants to be on time with equipment. An executive wants a calm arrival and a departure that matches the next meeting. A family wants simplicity. This guide covers all three.
The 2027 AutoShow dates and what we know about the schedule
According to the show's website, the 2027 edition runs from 12 to 21 February, and Media Day is 11 February. At the time of writing, public hours for 2027 are not yet posted. Last year's pattern is a reasonable guide: the show opened on a Friday at noon and ran until 10 pm, weekdays ran from 10:30 am to 9 pm, weekends from 10:30 am to 10 pm, and the closing Sunday ran from 10:30 am to 6 pm. Treat those as indicative and confirm the 2027 hours on the show's visitor information page before you plan your return pickup.
The show's site also reports record attendance of nearly 375,000 in a news item. That gives a sense of scale: this is a busy ten days, and the busiest hours are the opening weekend, the Family Day weekend and the evenings.
Which building, which level?
Last year's show maps covered levels 100 to 300 in the North Building and levels 500 to 800 in the South Building, which tells you the AutoShow spreads across both. The 2027 map will be published nearer the date. Because the buildings are reached from different streets, tell the desk which one you need:

- North Building, 255 Front Street West: the Front Street side, reached on foot by walking west along Front Street from Union Station.
- South Building, 222 Bremner Boulevard: the Bremner Boulevard side, reached on foot by walking west along Bremner Boulevard from Union Station.
For more on the two buildings, garage routes and clearances, see our Metro Toronto Convention Centre guide.
How far is the AutoShow from the airports and the station?
Distances are approximate road distances. Drive times are for normal conditions, and February weather can lengthen them.

- Toronto Pearson to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre: about 27 km (17 miles), usually 30 to 50 minutes. The route follows Highway 427 to the Gardiner Expressway.
- Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport to the centre: about 3 km (2 miles), usually 10 to 20 minutes. See Billy Bishop airport.
- Union Station to the centre: a few minutes on foot, and indoors by SkyWalk. The Union Station page covers pickups from the rail concourse.
- Enercare Centre to the centre: about 4 km (2.5 miles), usually 10 to 25 minutes, handy if your week also includes an event at Exhibition Place.
Before you confirm, the booker displays the fare for your exact address and vehicle.
AutoShow ground transport compared
The convention centre has the best rail connection of any Toronto venue, so the honest answer for many visitors is the train.

| Option | Typical time | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express from Pearson to Union Station, then the SkyWalk | About 25 to 30 minutes on the train plus an indoor walk | Lowest | Solo visitors with one bag on a flexible schedule |
| GO Transit or TTC subway to Union Station | Varies by line | Lowest | Visitors from the GTA, families who live near a station |
| Taxi | 30 to 50 minutes from Pearson | Metered | Single travellers |
| Rideshare | 30 to 60 minutes from Pearson | Surge-priced during peak show hours | Short trips with a flexible plan |
| Hotel shuttle | Varies | Often included | Hotel guests whose property runs one |
| Drive and park in the centre's garages or nearby lots | 30 to 50 minutes from Pearson | Paid by the day | Self-drivers |
| Private chauffeur from Enroutz.ca | 30 to 50 minutes from Pearson | Fixed fare via the booker | Executives, press teams, VIP guests, anyone with luggage or a tight schedule |
If you are visiting for an afternoon with one bag and no schedule, the train and the SkyWalk are the better choice and cost the least. The show's own visitor page confirms that the centre connects directly to Union Station, which offers subway, GO Transit, UP Express and VIA Rail service. A chauffeur matters most when you carry gear, travel as a team, arrive late at night or have a client waiting.
Media Day and press movements
Media Day on 11 February is a different operation from the public days. Journalists, bloggers and content crews arrive early with camera cases, tripods and laptops. Press days usually run to a tight timetable of presentations, and the desk can hold a vehicle for a team across the morning.

A few notes for press visitors:
- Name the building and your first presentation time. The chauffeur plans the arrival backwards from that slot.
- Pack for the vehicle. An Executive Sedan takes up to three passengers with two large and two cabin bags. A Luxury SUV takes up to six passengers and five to six large bags. An Executive Sprinter takes up to 12 passengers and 12 bags.
- Consider an hourly booking. A single vehicle can move a crew between the hotel, the show and a late filing session. Our hourly chauffeur page explains how.
- Mention any mid-day airport run. Crews often fly in and out the same day.
Executives, dealers and VIP guests
For manufacturer executives and dealer principals, the AutoShow is as much a meeting week as an exhibit. The transfer plan should serve a calendar of appointments, with some time to spare.
- Arrivals are tracked. Flight tracking is included on airport pickups. International arrivals include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, and domestic arrivals include 30 minutes.
- Discretion is standard. Chauffeurs never photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are available on request.
- Meet-and-greet is optional. A chauffeur with a name board inside arrivals is an add-on, and an alias can appear on the board.
- Corporate accounts simplify it. Corporate accounts offer monthly invoicing, and the corporate chauffeur service page explains how a company manages a team's travel.
Security is outside our remit: there are no armed drivers or bodyguards, and a client's own security team is welcome to coordinate with the chauffeur. For the arrangements that surround high-profile guests, our VIP and celebrity chauffeur page explains what we can and cannot do.
Families and public visitors
On public days, the show draws families. The opening weekend and the long weekend in the middle of the run tend to be the busiest. The advice for a family is simple:
- Arrive early or late. Midday on a weekend is the peak. An early arrival or a late-afternoon visit is calmer.
- Request child seats at booking. Toddler, child and booster seats can be fitted if asked for in advance.
- Use the train if you can. Union Station is a short indoor walk from the centre.
- Choose a pickup point away from the main doors. Your chauffeur can wait a short walk from the busiest entrance.
For a group of friends or colleagues visiting on the same day, a Luxury SUV or an Executive Sprinter keeps everyone together.
A sample day for a visiting executive
To make the logistics concrete, here is how a typical one-day visit from the USA might be planned. It is an illustration, not a fixed schedule.
- Early morning: land at Pearson from Chicago or New York. The chauffeur is waiting, and flight tracking has already confirmed the landing time.
- Mid-morning: arrive at the correct building and go straight to the first appointment, with the car released or held, depending on how you booked.
- Lunchtime: a short hop to a client meeting elsewhere downtown, then back for the afternoon floor visit.
- Evening: dinner, then a timed pickup to a hotel or the airport.
The principle is that the car follows the agenda. Where a taxi means waiting and a rideshare means a fresh request for every leg, a booked chauffeur is already positioned for the next stop.
Winter driving and what February means
Toronto in February is cold, and snow or freezing rain can slow roads. Visitors from warmer places are sometimes surprised. Allow extra time when the forecast is poor, particularly for airport runs. Professional chauffeurs are used to winter conditions, and flight tracking adjusts the pickup if the plane is late. Dress for the walk between the pickup point and the hall door, which can be longer than it looks.
The Gardiner Expressway and the downtown streets around Front Street are the busiest routes. Weekday peak hours, roughly 4 pm to 6:30 pm, are the slowest.
After the show: Toronto in the evening
Many visitors pair the AutoShow with dinners and client entertainment. Yorkville is a short drive north of the convention district. Our Toronto hotels hub lists where to stay, and our black car service in Toronto page explains the city's districts. If you also attend other shows, the trade shows hub covers fixtures like the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and the events hub lists Toronto's other major dates.
A booking tied to a large event may have its own cancellation deadline, which the confirmation states; the standard schedule is in the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions
When is the Canadian International AutoShow in 2027?
The show runs from 12 to 21 February 2027 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Media Day is 11 February 2027. Public opening hours for 2027 had not been posted at the time of writing, so check the show's visitor page.
How much is a car service to the Toronto auto show?
The fare is set by where you are collected, which vehicle you choose and when. The online booker lays out the complete figure before payment, and confirming it fixes it.
Which building is the AutoShow in?
The show is at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Last year's maps covered both the North Building (255 Front Street West) and the South Building (222 Bremner Boulevard). Confirm the 2027 layout on the show's site and tell the desk which building you need.
How far is the AutoShow from Pearson airport?
The centre is about 27 km (17 miles) from Pearson, and the drive usually takes 30 to 50 minutes. The UP Express train is a good alternative if you travel light, taking about 25 to 30 minutes to Union Station.
Can you drop me at the AutoShow and wait?
Yes. An hourly booking keeps the car and chauffeur with you. For a shorter commitment, book a timed return instead; away from airports, 15 minutes of waiting are included.
Do you provide transport for Media Day?
Yes. Tell the desk the building, your first presentation time and your equipment. For crews, an hourly booking in a Luxury SUV or an Executive Sprinter works well.
Is parking available at the AutoShow?
Parking is available at the North and South Buildings and in nearby Green P lots, according to the show's visitor page. On busy days spaces fill early, which is one reason many visitors choose the train or a chauffeur.
Can you arrange a group to attend together?
Yes. A group of up to 12 with 12 bags fits an Executive Sprinter, and parties up to 56 travel by mini-coach or coach on request, with availability confirmed at booking.
