Black car service Las Vegas: one booking, a local chauffeur on the ground
Las Vegas packs its traffic into a few hours. A black car service in Las Vegas can look easy on the map, since the airport is about 8 km (5 miles) from the Strip, yet a Saturday night, a convention morning or a Sunday-afternoon checkout can turn that short drive into an hour. The Enroutz.ca desk in Toronto takes your booking. A vetted, licensed and commercially insured Las Vegas chauffeur partner delivers the ride, and the desk confirms it, tracks your flight and sends one invoice.
You get one confirmation, one contact at any hour and a fixed fare shown before you pay. Get an instant fare for your exact pickup and drop-off, or read on for how the airport, the Strip and the convention season actually work.
How far is Harry Reid International Airport from the Strip?

Harry Reid International (LAS) is about 8 km (5 miles) from the central Strip. The drive takes 15 to 25 minutes off-peak and 30 to 50 minutes on a busy evening or during a major convention. A pre-booked chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you at the point in your confirmation.
The airport was formerly McCarran International and is now named Harry Reid International, which is why older maps and older websites still show the former name. The three-letter code, LAS, is unchanged. It has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, joined by a free inter-terminal shuttle. See our Harry Reid airport page for the detail.
Typical distances from LAS:
- Central Strip, such as the Bellagio area: about 8 km (5 miles), 15 to 25 minutes.
- Las Vegas Convention Center: about 6 km (4 miles), 15 to 30 minutes, much longer on show mornings.
- Downtown and Fremont Street: about 11 km (7 miles), 15 to 30 minutes.
- Resort corridors off the Strip, such as the west side near Red Rock: about 25 to 35 km (15 to 22 miles), 25 to 45 minutes.
Airport car service Las Vegas: where the pickup happens
According to the airport's limousines page:

- At Terminal 1, limos and private shuttles are on the west side of baggage claim, outside exit doors 7 to 10.
- At Terminal 3, limo pickup is on Level Zero, at each end of the building.
Your Enroutz.ca confirmation tells you which applies to your flight and your chauffeur's meeting point. Many companies also arrange for the driver to meet you in the baggage claim hall. If you want a name board in arrivals, add meet and greet at booking. Ask for an alias on the board if you want privacy.
Flight tracking is included on every pickup, and waiting is free for 60 minutes after landing on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic arrivals. Toronto to Las Vegas is about five hours in the air, and a flight from Pearson that clears U.S. inspection in Toronto before boarding arrives in Las Vegas as a domestic passenger with no immigration hall ahead. Las Vegas is three hours behind Toronto, so a mid-afternoon landing feels like early evening at home.
Chauffeur service Las Vegas: understanding the Strip
Visitors are often surprised by the scale. The Strip is the name for a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard about 6 km (4 miles) long, and most of it lies just outside the city limits, in the surrounding county. Hotels that look next to each other can be a 20-minute walk apart in the heat, and a car between them saves more time than it first appears.

A chauffeur's craft in Las Vegas is routing. Las Vegas Boulevard itself is slow. Paradise Road, Koval Lane, Frank Sinatra Drive and the I-15 offer ways around it, and which one works depends on the hour. Hotel pickup areas vary by property, and several resorts have more than one entrance. Send the desk your hotel and tower when you book, and a chauffeur will know which door to use.
For a long night out, an hourly chauffeur is simpler than ordering a new car at every stop. The chauffeur waits in a legal position, you message when you are ready, and the car arrives at the door.
Honest comparison: Harry Reid Airport to the Strip

| Choice | Time to the Strip | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Public bus | 40 to 70 minutes | Lowest | Light luggage, patient |
| Taxi from the rank | 15 to 40 minutes | Metered | Solo, no booking |
| Rideshare | 15 to 40 minutes after the pickup wait | Surge at peak | Spur-of-the-moment trips |
| Resort or airport shuttle | 30 to 70 minutes with stops | Often lowest | Easygoing arrivals |
| Rental car | 20 to 40 minutes plus the rental centre | Variable, plus hotel parking | Day trips to Red Rock, Hoover Dam |
| Private chauffeur | 15 to 40 minutes, no queue | Fixed fare via booker | Groups, late arrivals, VIP guests, convention weeks |
In Las Vegas a taxi or a rideshare is the lower-cost choice on paper and can be the slower one in practice. The taxi queue is long at peak times, and ride-hailing pickup zones at an airport can be a long walk. A chauffeur is worth the difference when you have a group, heavy luggage or an arrival that matters. If you are alone with a carry-on and no schedule, a taxi is fine. CES, NAB, SEMA and the convention calendar
Las Vegas is one of the leading convention destinations in the United States, and its calendar shapes travel. The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority owns and operates the 4.6 million square-foot Las Vegas Convention Center, according to the LVCVA.
- CES is listed on the official CES website for 6 to 9 January 2027. See CES transportation.
- NAB Show is usually held in April. See NAB Show transportation.
- SEMA Show is usually held in November. See SEMA Show transportation.
Show weeks bring exceptional traffic. Roads near the convention centre close or turn one-way, hotel forecourts are blocked at peak times, and arrival airports queue. Plan more time than the map suggests, book the airport transfer and the venue loop together, and confirm your pickup location the evening before. Exhibitors can book a hotel-to-hall shuttle for the whole show; see trade show transportation and the trade shows hub. Show weeks can follow their own cancellation deadline, which the confirmation lists.
Weekends, heat and winter nights
A few patterns repeat in Las Vegas, and they are worth planning around.
- Friday afternoon to Sunday midday is the leisure peak. Check-in queues, airport arrivals and Strip traffic all rise together, and a Sunday checkout wave sends cars back to the airport at the same time.
- Midweek during a show can be busier than a weekend. Delegates travel on Monday and Tuesday and leave on Thursday or Friday, so pickups cluster at the start and end of the week.
- Summer brings extreme heat. Walking between resorts is far harder than it looks, so ask the chauffeur to bring the car to the door and message the desk when you leave your room.
- Winter evenings are cool and can be cold in the desert, particularly on day trips to Red Rock or the Grand Canyon, where snow is possible.
Early-morning departures are easiest. The airport roads are quiet, the Strip is clear, and the only queue is security. If your flight leaves at 6 am, the desk will set a pickup time that leaves room for the terminal and your checked bags.
For corporate groups, the pattern is similar. A team of eight arriving on three different flights is a good use of the desk. It confirms each arrival separately, tracks each flight and sends the right vehicle to the right door. See meetings, incentives and conferences for how multi-flight arrivals are handled.
Hotels and the Bellagio
Las Vegas hotels are resorts with their own roads, garages and arrival halls. The Bellagio is one of the best-known on the Strip, and a pickup there depends on the entrance and the time. The hotels hub lists the others we cover worldwide. For a wedding or a milestone party, a Sprinter keeps the group together; see group transportation.
Day trips: Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Red Rock
Las Vegas is a gateway to the desert, and a chauffeured day trip is often the best way to see it.
- Hoover Dam: about 50 km (31 miles) south-east, roughly 45 minutes.
- Red Rock Canyon: about 30 km (19 miles) west, roughly 30 to 40 minutes.
- Valley of Fire: about 90 km (56 miles) north-east, about an hour.
- Grand Canyon West: the attraction itself calls it a two-hour drive from Las Vegas; see its getting here page.
A private day with a driver lets a group choose its stops. In summer, desert temperatures are high; bring water and plan the hottest hours indoors. See the private tours with driver page for how a day itinerary is built.
Los Angeles, Phoenix and onward travel
Las Vegas is a short flight from Los Angeles and a long drive. The road to Los Angeles is about 435 km (270 miles) and takes four to five hours when the Interstate 15 is clear and much longer on a Sunday afternoon, when the weekend traffic returns. Most travellers fly. If your itinerary continues on the West Coast, Los Angeles and San Francisco are on the same network. The USA hub lists all the cities.
Discretion, VIP arrivals and nights out
Las Vegas hosts entertainment, sports and corporate hospitality, and many guests want discretion. Chauffeurs never photograph clients or post about trips, and an NDA is available on request. Arrivals can be coordinated with a venue's back-of-house entrance, and a name board can carry an alias. See VIP chauffeur service. Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service, not a security firm: no armed drivers and no bodyguards, and the team coordinates with a client's own protection staff.
Alcohol is never promised on board, and local law applies to what you may carry and consume in a vehicle.
Vehicles for Las Vegas
Groups dominate Las Vegas bookings, so the Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar) is the favourite: six passengers, five to six large bags. The Executive Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CT6 or Lyriq or similar) and the First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar) suit one to three people with two large and two cabin bags. For a bachelor party, an exhibitor team or a wedding group, the Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter) seats twelve with twelve bags.
Coaches of 20 to 56 seats, Maybach, Rolls-Royce, stretch limousines and armoured vehicles can be requested, with availability confirmed at booking. Models are "or similar" and named on your confirmation. Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers are in most vehicles, and child, toddler and booster seats are added at booking. See the full fleet. Exhibitors and corporate teams can open corporate accounts with monthly invoicing.
Booking and cancellation
You will see the exact fare before paying. A cancellation made more than 72 hours before the scheduled pickup is free; at 72 hours or less 10% applies, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less or on a no-show the full amount. Show weeks and other large events can use a different deadline, shown on the confirmation.
