Is a chauffeur worth booking for the NAB Show in Las Vegas?
For most exhibitors and executives, yes. The Las Vegas Convention Center is only about 9 km (about 5.5 miles) from Harry Reid airport, but show-week taxi and rideshare queues are the part nobody can predict. A pre-booked chauffeur turns that into one confirmed pickup, a named driver and a fixed fare.
The distance is not the problem. The problem is the hour in which everybody who flew in for the NAB Show leaves the airport at once, and the hour in which exhibitors all try to reach the same loading dock before the doors open. A pre-booked car sidesteps both queues, because it is already waiting.
If you are flying from Toronto, from London or from Dubai, you do not need to open a Las Vegas account with anyone. You book with the Enroutz.ca desk once. The ride in Nevada is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured US chauffeur partner, and the booking, confirmation and invoice stay with us.
NAB Show Las Vegas at a glance
The details below come from the organiser's own website. Confirm them there before you commit to flights, because dates and venue assignments can change.

| Item | What the organiser publishes |
|---|---|
| Next Las Vegas edition | April 4–7, 2027 |
| Venue | Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109 |
| Companion show | NAB Show New York, October 21–22, 2026, at the Javits Center in New York |
| Typical visitor | Broadcast, media, entertainment and technology professionals |
| Who needs transport | Exhibitors with equipment, executives between meetings, crews, speakers |
The NAB Show New York date is worth a note for readers who work both sides of the year. It sits only a few weeks away, and our New York chauffeur service covers JFK, Newark, LaGuardia and the Javits Center, with the same single-booking model.
Dates: what is confirmed and what to double-check
The organiser lists the 2027 Las Vegas show for April 4–7, 2027, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. That is the date we plan around. Exhibit-floor days and conference days can differ by a day at either end, so read the programme at nabshow.com before you decide when to land.

Our advice on arrival day is simple. If you set up a booth, arrive the evening before move-in, not the morning of. If you are a delegate, land the afternoon before opening day so that your first Las Vegas hour is a hotel check-in, not a registration queue.
For the return, avoid the final afternoon of the show. Departures cluster on the closing day, and airport roads fill in a way that a calm Tuesday never does.
Flying in: Harry Reid International Airport
The airport serves Las Vegas through Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Which one you use depends on your airline, and the airport's own site shows its parking garages at both. Your confirmation will tell you where your chauffeur is waiting once your flight is matched in our system.

We track every airport pickup against the live flight status. On a domestic arrival, we hold the car for 30 minutes of free waiting after landing. On an international connection into Las Vegas, the clock is 60 minutes. A name-board meet-and-greet inside arrivals can be added at booking if you would rather be walked to the car than text a driver. If you want a privacy alias on the board, say so when you book.
The airport posts travel alerts on its website. A recent notice covered lane closures in the connector tunnels during repaving through December 2026, with an instruction to allow extra time. We watch notices like that, but you should read the airport's page in the week you travel.
Entering the United States is a separate step, and it depends on your passport. Visitors from some countries apply for an ESTA; others need a visa. The official explanation is on the CBP ESTA page. We cannot advise on eligibility, and a chauffeur cannot fix a missing authorization at the gate.
The Convention Center and how show-day traffic behaves
The Las Vegas Convention Center, run by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, sits at 3150 Paradise Road, east of the Strip. The venue's operator promotes a recent renovation and a West Hall, and the campus spreads across several buildings. Your first job is to find out which hall, and which door, your meeting or booth is at, and to give that to your chauffeur in advance.

Here is how a normal NAB morning goes. Hotels on the Strip empty between 7:30 and 9:00. Paradise Road and the connecting streets fill. Drop-off lanes near the main entrances slow to a crawl. A good chauffeur does not queue at the front door. He or she knows the alternatives, picks the lane that leaves you closest to your hall, and tells you in advance where the return pickup will be.
The same logic applies in the evening. Show-floor closing time and the first dinner reservations arrive together. If you have a 6:30 table, we suggest a 5:45 pickup and an honest conversation about what you will skip.
Getting around Las Vegas during NAB: the honest comparison
The lowest-fare way to get from the airport to a Strip hotel is not always the best way to start a trade show. The table gives the real options and who each one suits.
| Option | Typical time (airport to LVCC area) | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Taxi from the airport rank | 15–40 min plus queue | Metered | Light travellers with no schedule |
| Rideshare | 15–40 min plus pickup wait | Surge-priced on show days | Solo travellers who can wait |
| Hotel or show shuttle, when running | Varies by route | Often included | Delegates with fixed hotel and flexible timing |
| Rental car | 15–30 min | Daily rate plus parking | Drivers who know Las Vegas and park once |
| Private chauffeur | 15–30 min | Fixed fare via booker | Exhibitors, executives, groups with equipment |
If you travel alone, carry one bag and have nothing before noon, a taxi or a rideshare is the sensible choice. We say that plainly. A chauffeur earns its fixed fare when you have a team, cases, a booth to open, or a call that begins thirty minutes after wheels-down.
Who books a chauffeur for the NAB Show
Four types of traveller account for most of our NAB-style requests.
Exhibitors and booth crews. Cameras, cases and signage do not fit in a rideshare sedan. We confirm bag counts at booking so that the vehicle is sized for the people and the kit. A Luxury SUV takes up to 6 passengers and 5–6 large bags, and an Executive Sprinter takes up to 12 with 12 bags.
Executives between meetings. Meetings at the Convention Center, lunch at a Strip hotel, a studio visit off Paradise Road and dinner on Fremont all happen on the same day. An hourly chauffeur is built for it: you set the first pickup and the car stays with you.
Speakers and talent. A named chauffeur, a clear arrival door and a driver who does not photograph or post about the trip. We sign NDAs on request, and we use alias names on boards where privacy matters. For higher-profile movements, see our VIP chauffeur service.
Delegations from abroad. If your group lands in separate waves from Toronto, London and the Gulf, the group transportation page explains how we phase pickups so that nobody waits for the last flight.
Choosing the vehicle
All vehicles are "or similar", and the exact model is confirmed at booking.
- Executive Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CT6/Lyriq or similar): up to 3 passengers, 2 large and 2 cabin bags.
- First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar): up to 3 passengers, 2 large and 2 cabin bags.
- Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar): up to 6 passengers and 5–6 large bags.
- Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter): up to 12 passengers and 12 bags.
Partner vehicles in the United States are no more than 4 model years old, and the luxury marques (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Maybach) up to 7. Most vehicles carry Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers. Child, toddler and booster seats are available on request when you book. See the full fleet for classes, and ask at booking if you need a stretch limousine; availability is confirmed at booking.
A realistic NAB day plan
Here is how one of our planners would lay out a four-day itinerary for a small team of three coming from Toronto.
- Arrival day. The chauffeur is matched to the flight, meets the team at the arrivals hall, and drives to the hotel. The first fixed-fare leg is booked as a single transfer.
- Setup day. An hourly booking starts at 7:00. Equipment goes to the Convention Center first, people second.
- Show days. Two fixed pickups a day, morning and evening, plus one hourly block for off-site meetings.
- Departure day. A pickup three hours before an international flight and two hours before a domestic one, or earlier if you have a booth to dismantle.
None of this is complicated, and all of it can be set in the booker in a few minutes. Tell us the flight numbers, the hotel and the hall.
Booking from Toronto: how the single booking works
The model is the same for every US page on this site. Enroutz.ca is based at a Toronto dispatch desk. In Toronto, the GTA and Ontario, our own fleet and chauffeurs do the driving. In Las Vegas, the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed, commercially insured local chauffeur partner. You still get one booking, one confirmation, one invoice and one point of contact around the clock.
Domestic trips inside the United States must be driven by US-licensed partners. Canadian vehicles cannot do point-to-point work between American cities. This is why we do not tell you a Toronto car can pick you up at a Nevada airport; it cannot, and we say so.
You can start at the United States hub, or go directly to Las Vegas and the Harry Reid airport page. Corporate travel managers can open a corporate account with monthly invoicing, and event teams can read about trade show transportation in general.
Prices, cancellations and show-week deadlines
The booker shows the exact all-in fare for your pickup address, drop-off address and vehicle before you pay. Nothing is quoted by phone and nothing changes after you confirm.
Our standard cancellation terms measure from the scheduled pickup time. More than 72 hours' notice carries no charge. At 72 hours or less, 10% applies. At 48 hours or less, 50%. At 24 hours or less, or a no-show, 100%. Large events and conventions may carry a different deadline, and your confirmation will state it. During show week, read the confirmation, because that is where an event-specific deadline will appear.
Related pages for Las Vegas travellers
If you are comparing shows, the CES Las Vegas page covers the same city and venue in January. For a night out after the show, the Bellagio page shows how we handle a Strip hotel. All of our event pages are listed in the trade show hub and the events hub.
Frequently asked questions
When is the next NAB Show in Las Vegas?
The organiser lists April 4–7, 2027, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Check nabshow.com for the programme, because exhibit-floor and conference days can differ.
How far is the Las Vegas Convention Center from Harry Reid airport?
About 9 km (about 5.5 miles). The drive is usually 15–30 minutes outside show peaks, and longer in the morning and evening rush on show days. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm.
Can I book a chauffeur for NAB Show from Toronto?
Yes. You book with the Enroutz.ca desk in Toronto, and a vetted, licensed and commercially insured US partner delivers the ride in Las Vegas. You receive one confirmation and one invoice.
Is a chauffeur better than a taxi or rideshare for the NAB Show?
It depends on your trip. Solo, light, flexible travellers are fine with a taxi. A chauffeur is the better choice for teams, equipment, tight meeting schedules and arrivals timed to a call or a booth opening.
Can my chauffeur wait at the Convention Center?
Yes. Book an hourly block and the car stays with you, or schedule fixed pickups for the morning and evening. Waiting time on standard pickups is 15 minutes; airport pickups include more, as described above.
Can the chauffeur carry exhibition cases?
Yes, if the vehicle is sized for them. Tell us the number and size of the cases at booking. Luxury SUVs take 5–6 large bags and Executive Sprinters take 12. Oversized freight is better handled by a specialist courier.
Do I need an ESTA to travel to Las Vegas?
It depends on your passport. The US Customs and Border Protection website explains who uses the ESTA process. We cannot judge eligibility, so check the official page before you book flights.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track every airport pickup against live flight data and adjust the pickup. Your chauffeur is there when you land, not when you were originally scheduled to land.
Can I get a car seat?
Child, toddler and booster seats are available on request when you book.
