St Pancras chauffeur service for Eurostar arrivals in central London
A Eurostar arrival at St Pancras International is one of the cleanest ways to reach London. You leave the centre of Paris or Brussels, travel through the tunnel and step off in the capital, close to King's Cross and a short drive from Bloomsbury, the West End and the City. The weak link is the last part: a queue for a black cab on a wet evening, a ride app that cannot find you inside a busy station, or a missed meeting because nobody told the driver your train was forty minutes late. A st pancras chauffeur removes that last mile from the list of things to worry about.
Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service with its home desk in Toronto. In London, the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner and is booked, confirmed and invoiced by the Enroutz.ca desk. You have one booking, one confirmation, one invoice and one point of contact, around the clock. Partner vehicles are no more than four model years old, and Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach vehicles, where requested, are no more than seven.
Who books a car service at St Pancras International?

Business travellers coming from Paris or Brussels, families heading to hotels in the West End, and Toronto visitors who have crossed the Channel by train all book ahead. A pre-booked driver tracks the train, meets you at an agreed point, and takes you straight to your address on a fixed fare.
Typical bookings fall into four groups. The first is the corporate traveller who has taken the early train from Paris and has a meeting in the City or Canary Wharf by lunchtime. The second is the family who has used Eurostar to reach London after a stay in France and wants a vehicle large enough for the suitcases. The third is the traveller leaving London, headed for Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam, who needs to reach the station on schedule. The fourth is the visitor who is moving between St Pancras and an airport and wants a single reliable car instead of juggling trains.
About the station and its Eurostar services
The station operator gives the address as St Pancras International, Euston Road, London N1C 4QP, and states that the station is open 24 hours. It lists Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Lille among its highlighted international destinations by train, and says the journey to Brussels takes just over two hours.

Eurostar's own site lists Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Disneyland Paris, Rotterdam, Bruges and Lille among its top routes from London. It describes the London to Paris journey as taking about 2 hours 16 minutes, direct from city centre to city centre, and notes that connections to Switzerland, including Geneva, Zurich, Basel and Lausanne, run by TGV Lyria from Paris. Eurostar's travel-information page says there is no need to check in for Eurostar and that you scan your ticket at the ticket gate.
The station also sits beside King's Cross St Pancras Underground station, which the operator says offers more Underground connections than any other London station. Free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, currency exchange, accessible facilities, charging points and cash machines are listed, and car parking with short-stay, long-stay, car-rental and valet options is available.
Where the chauffeur meets you
The operator's page does not publish a single meeting point for pre-booked cars, and station layouts and works change. We therefore do not promise one fixed door. Your confirmation gives the arrangement for your date, and your chauffeur messages you before the train arrives.

Here is the usual sequence:
- You give the desk your Eurostar train number and arrival time when you book.
- The chauffeur follows the real arrival, not only the printed time.
- You receive the driver's name and vehicle details before you travel.
- For a name-board meet-and-greet, the chauffeur waits at the agreed spot with a board showing your name, or an alias if you want privacy.
- Luggage goes into the vehicle and you are on your way, without queuing for a rank.
On other pickups that are not airports, 15 minutes of waiting is included from the scheduled arrival. On the return leg, a chauffeur can be at your hotel in good time for the departure you choose.
St Pancras transport options compared
London is rich in public transport, and the cheaper option is sometimes the best one. This is how the alternatives compare.

| Option | Typical time to central London | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| London Underground | Frequent; King's Cross St Pancras is on site | Lowest | Light luggage and destinations on a direct line |
| Black cab | About 15–35 minutes to Mayfair, depending on traffic | Metered | Short city journeys with no booking |
| Ride app | Pickup wait varies with demand | Surge-priced at busy times | Flexible plans when you have no fixed schedule |
| Hotel car | Varies | Quoted by the hotel | Guests of hotels that offer a car service |
| Private hire minicab | About 15–35 minutes to Mayfair | Quoted before the ride | Standard city rides |
| Pre-booked chauffeur | About 15–35 minutes to Mayfair | Fixed fare via booker | Meetings, heavy bags, families and groups |
If you are travelling alone with a single bag to a destination on the Underground, the Underground wins on cost and often on speed. A chauffeur earns its place when you have suitcases, when you arrive late at night, when the group has three or more people, or when you want the vehicle waiting rather than the planning of a route.
From St Pancras to London's airports
Many Eurostar passengers connect with a flight, and a smaller number fly into London and take Eurostar onward. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle before you confirm. Distances and times below are approximate.
| Route | Distance (about) | Usual drive time | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| St Pancras to Heathrow (LHR) | 25 km (16 miles) | 45–80 minutes | Heathrow lists a terminal drop-off charge on its own site |
| St Pancras to London City (LCY) | 15 km (9 miles) | 35–60 minutes | Closest airport to the City and Canary Wharf |
| St Pancras to Gatwick (LGW) | 45 km (28 miles) | 60–100 minutes | South of London, via the M23 corridor |
| St Pancras to Luton (LTN) | 50 km (31 miles) | 50–90 minutes | North of London |
| St Pancras to Stansted (STN) | 55 km (34 miles) | 55–95 minutes | North-east of London |
Heathrow's own page on transport and directions covers rail, taxi and minicab options and describes a "Terminal Drop-Off Charge" for cars dropping passengers at the terminal. The amount is on the airport's site and is not something we set; our desk explains how the drop-off or pickup works for your flight. For the airport-side detail, read our guides to Heathrow and Gatwick.
Mayfair, the City, Canary Wharf and the West End
Most arrivals head to one of four places. These distances are approximate and the usual driving times depend on the hour.
- Mayfair and St James's: about 5.5 km (3.5 miles), usually 20–35 minutes. Home to many of the capital's best-known hotels. The Savoy, on the Strand, is a little closer, at about 4 km (2.5 miles).
- The City of London: about 4.5 km (3 miles), usually 15–30 minutes. Banks, law firms and insurers.
- Canary Wharf: about 11 km (7 miles), usually 25–45 minutes. A tower district with its own traffic patterns.
- ExCeL London: about 14 km (9 miles), usually 30–55 minutes. The exhibition hall for large trade shows.
For a day with several stops, ask about hourly chauffeur service. Our London chauffeur service page covers the broader picture, including city-wide hotels and events.
London's road charges: what to know before you ride
Transport for London publishes the rules, and a visitor from Canada is unlikely to have met anything like them before. The Congestion Charge applies from 7:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, and from 12:00 to 18:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, according to TfL. There is no charge from Christmas Day through the New Year's Day bank holiday. The Ultra Low Emission Zone covers all London boroughs and runs 24 hours a day, every day, except Christmas Day, as TfL states.
TfL provides an address and postcode checker so you can see whether a given address falls in the Congestion Charge zone. We do not make a claim about whether the station or your hotel falls inside it; use the checker. Our partner vehicles are no more than four model years old, so they are in practice built to recent emissions standards, and the desk confirms the details when you book.
You can read the rules directly on the TfL pages for the Congestion Charge and the Ultra Low Emission Zone.
Entry to the United Kingdom
Rules differ by nationality, and they change. The UK government explains that most visitors need either an Electronic Travel Authorisation or a visa, and that the ETA lets you travel for up to six months; US and Canadian citizens usually need an ETA rather than a visa. Apply only through the official service, because the government warns against sites that imitate it. See GOV.UK on the ETA. We are a chauffeur service and cannot give immigration advice, so verify before you fly.
Eurostar and the road: planning a connection
A Eurostar journey is a good example of why timing matters. Trains can run late, and a late arrival from Paris pushes everything after it. When you book, give the desk the actual train number rather than a rough hour. If you have a fixed appointment, leave room between arrival and the meeting. For long itineraries across several cities, see Paris Gare du Nord, the Paris chauffeur service and the Europe hub. Heading on to the Netherlands? Our Amsterdam Schiphol page covers that end.
Eurostar's site also lists the TGV Lyria connections from Paris to Switzerland. A traveller going on to Geneva can combine Eurostar with a Geneva chauffeur service at the far end, with the desk keeping all legs on one invoice.
Vehicles and luggage
Classes are shown with "or similar", and the exact model is confirmed at booking.
- Executive Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CT6/Lyriq or similar): up to 3 passengers, 2 large and 2 cabin bags.
- First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar): up to 3 passengers, same bag allowance, more space for working in the back.
- Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar): up to 6 passengers and 5–6 large bags.
- Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter): up to 12 passengers and 12 bags.
Mini-coach and coach (20–56 seats) can be requested, as can Maybach, Rolls-Royce, stretch limousine and armoured vehicles, with availability confirmed at booking. Most vehicles carry Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers. Child, toddler and booster seats can be requested when you book. See the fleet page for more.
Service standards
Every airport pickup includes flight tracking. For rail and other pickups, the driver follows the train details you provide. Chauffeurs and vehicles are licensed and commercially insured. The desk is open 24 hours a day, the fare is fixed and quoted before you pay, and corporate accounts come with monthly invoicing; see corporate accounts. Chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are signed on request.
Cancellation is measured from the scheduled pickup time: more than 72 hours' notice carries no charge, 72 hours or less 10%, 48 hours or less 50%, and 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%. Large events may have a different deadline, stated on your confirmation.
Official sources and next steps
For the station itself, see the operator's page for St Pancras International, and for train routes and offers see Eurostar. Heathrow's transport and directions page covers its own options. Browse the train stations hub for other stations, or the airports hub for the full list of airports we cover. If you are just ready to book, enter any pickup worldwide and the desk confirms a fixed quote.
Frequently asked questions
How do I book a chauffeur at St Pancras International?
Enter your pickup, destination, date and Eurostar train number in the online booker. The desk confirms a fixed fare, the vehicle class and the chauffeur's details in writing, and you receive one invoice. The same desk handles any change to your plans.
Where is the chauffeur waiting for my Eurostar?
The meeting point depends on the day and on any works in the station, so it is confirmed in your booking and by message before you arrive. With a name-board meet-and-greet, your chauffeur waits at the agreed spot with a board showing your name or an alias.
How far is St Pancras from Heathrow?
About 25 km (16 miles), and usually 45–80 minutes by road, depending on traffic. The Underground also runs between King's Cross St Pancras and Heathrow, which is cheaper but slower with heavy luggage. The booker shows the exact fare for your address and vehicle.
Do I need an ETA to visit the UK from Canada or the US?
The UK government says most visitors need an ETA or a visa, and that US and Canadian citizens usually need an ETA rather than a visa. Check and apply only through the official GOV.UK service before you travel. Rules change, so confirm them yourself.
How long does Eurostar take from London to Paris?
Eurostar's website says London to Paris takes about 2 hours 16 minutes, city centre to city centre. Brussels takes just over two hours, according to the station operator. Delays can occur, which is why we track the train rather than the timetable.
Does Enroutz.ca own vehicles in London?
No. In London the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner, and it is booked, confirmed and invoiced by the Enroutz.ca desk. Partner vehicles are no more than four model years old, and luxury marques no more than seven.
Are London's Congestion Charge and ULEZ included in the quote?
Ask the desk when you book. TfL sets the charges and zone rules, and they can change, so we do not quote a figure here. The booker shows the fixed fare for your trip before you pay, and the desk can confirm how zone charges are handled.
Can I book a chauffeur for a whole day in London?
Yes. An hourly chauffeur stays with you between meetings, shops or sightseeing stops. Give the desk your itinerary, start time and the number of passengers, and it confirms the vehicle and the fixed fare.
Can the chauffeur wait if my Eurostar is delayed?
Yes. The driver follows the real train arrival. On pickups that are not airports, 15 minutes of waiting is included from the scheduled arrival, and the desk adjusts the meeting time if the delay is large. Tell the desk about any change as soon as you know.
