What does a Munich chauffeur service from Enroutz.ca include?
A Munich chauffeur service from Enroutz.ca is a pre-booked private car and driver: a flight-tracked pickup at Munich Airport, transfers to hotels, offices, Messe München or the Oktoberfest district, and full-day service for meetings or Alpine trips. The fare is fixed and quoted before you pay.
Munich rewards precision. The airport sits well outside the city, the old town is largely pedestrianised, the fair grounds are on the far east side, and the busiest weeks of the year, the trade fairs and the Oktoberfest, fill every hotel and every taxi at once. Booking a chauffeur ahead means the car, the pickup door and the drop-off point are decided before you land.
Enroutz.ca is a Toronto-based black car service. In Munich, your ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner, and our desk books, confirms and invoices it. If you are flying from Toronto to Munich, you deal with a desk that works in your time zone, with the same fixed-fare logic you would have at home.
How booking works from Toronto, the USA or the Gulf
Enter any Munich pickup in the online booker, pick the vehicle class and the desk confirms a fixed quote for your exact addresses. The quote shown before payment is the fare you pay.

We hold the flight number, the number of passengers and bags, the hotel or office address and any child seat request. The partner chauffeur sees the same record, and the car is never more than four model years old (seven for Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach). For the wider picture, read how our worldwide chauffeur network works, or browse the other European cities we cover.
Munich is six hours ahead of Toronto for most of the year. Overnight flights from North America usually land in the morning, so tell the desk if you need to go straight to a meeting; the chauffeur will plan the stop and the luggage.
Munich Airport: Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and the Satellite
Munich Airport is in the Erdinger Moos, northeast of the city. The City of Munich describes the layout simply. Terminal 1 is used by all airlines except Lufthansa and its partners, and its new pier for non-Schengen flights has been in operation since 21 April 2026. Terminal 2 and the Satellite are used by Lufthansa, its subsidiaries and Star Alliance partners. The Satellite is reached by the airport's own underground train in under a minute, and a shuttle connects Terminals 1 and 2. A separate Hall F, between the two terminals, handles check-in for flights with extra security requirements.

For your pickup, the practical points are:
- Your confirmation states the terminal your airline uses, and the chauffeur tracks your flight, so a gate or terminal change does not leave you waiting at the wrong door.
- The Satellite has no direct landside connection. If you arrive there, you come through the underground link to the Terminal 2 arrivals building, and the chauffeur meets you after baggage claim and customs.
- Free waiting on international arrivals runs for 60 minutes after landing. If you want a name board inside arrivals, add the meet-and-greet service at booking, with an alias name on the board if you prefer privacy.
The detailed terminal-by-terminal guide is on our Munich Airport page, and the airports hub lists every airport we serve. The City of Munich's airport page is the best neutral source for terminal changes.
Munich Airport to the city: distance, times and the S-Bahn
The City of Munich puts Munich Airport about 28 km (17 miles) northeast of downtown. Lines S1 and S8 run to the main station and Marienplatz about every 20 minutes each, with a journey of about 40 to 45 minutes. By road, the airport has its own exit on the A92. These are the trips we are asked about most.

| Trip | Distance | Typical time | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airport to Munich Hauptbahnhof or Marienplatz | about 28 km (17 mi) | about 40 to 45 minutes by S-Bahn | Road time varies with the A92 and city traffic |
| Airport to the Altstadt and Maximilianstrasse hotels | about 28 km (17 mi) | 35 to 50 minutes by car | Allow more at morning and evening peaks |
| Airport to Messe München (Riem) | across the city, east side | confirmed at booking | The desk gives the exact route length and time for your hall |
The road times are typical ranges for ordinary conditions rather than published figures, so we state them as ranges. Enter your hotel or office and the booker returns the exact fare before you commit.
Munich Airport to the city compared: S-Bahn, bus, taxi, rideshare or chauffeur
We say plainly where a lower-cost option is the right call. For one traveller with a light bag going to the main station in daytime, the S-Bahn is the better choice.

| Way to go | Time to the centre | Cost | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| S-Bahn S1 or S8 | 40 to 45 minutes | lowest; MVV zones M to 5 | One bag, daytime, travelling alone |
| Lufthansa Express Bus | roughly 45 minutes | low; direct to the main station | Travellers with an easy walk at the other end |
| Taxi | 35 to 50 minutes | metered | Unplanned trips, short notice |
| Ride-hailing | similar to a taxi | surge-priced | Occasional use with data on your phone |
| Hire car | 35 to 50 minutes | varies, plus parking and the green sticker | Day trips outside the city |
| Private chauffeur through Enroutz.ca | 35 to 50 minutes | fixed fare via booker | Families, groups, heavy luggage, late arrivals, meetings waiting |
A chauffeur wins on everything surrounding the ride. The driver tracks your flight, waits when you are delayed and knows which hotel entrances can be reached by car. The Lufthansa bus and S-Bahn each need a walk at the far end, which matters with a suitcase in the rain.
Oktoberfest 2027: how to arrive without a headache
The City of Munich lists the 192nd Oktoberfest for Saturday 18 September to Sunday 3 October 2027 on the Theresienwiese, with the official tapping at noon on the opening Saturday in the Schottenhamel tent. The city asks visitors to arrive by U-Bahn, S-Bahn or on foot and says there is no visitor parking directly on the Theresienwiese. Its Oktoberfest page is in French but gives the dates plainly.
What that means for a chauffeur:
- Do not expect the car to stage at the grounds. The pickup is agreed at a street point away from the main gates, and the chauffeur is booked by time so a late evening is not a surprise.
- Hotels fill early. Book your airport transfer when you book the room, not three weeks before.
- Tent reservations are separate. We transport you; we do not hold tent tables.
For group visits, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter seats up to 12 with 12 bags, and the group transportation page explains how multi-flight arrivals are collected. Our general event transportation service covers staging and returns.
Messe München, IAA Mobility and the trade fair calendar
Messe München operates several sites. According to its site, the Trade Fair Center, the ICM congress centre and the CCN are in Munich Riem, while the MOC event centre is in the north of the city. Tell us which one your event uses, because Riem and the north of the city are on opposite sides of Munich.
IAA Mobility returns to Munich from 7 to 12 September 2027, with a press day on 6 September, per the IAA Mobility website. The event splits between the fair grounds and the city, so tell us which venue each meeting uses. During a major fair the S-Bahn and U-Bahn are very busy, and the road to the venue slows at opening and closing times.
Exhibitors can book a standing car for the show days; delegations can book shuttles between hotel, venue and airport. Our trade show transportation and meetings and conferences pages describe how the arrangements run. Corporate bookers can use a corporate account with monthly invoicing.
Business days and the hourly chauffeur
Munich's business life spreads across the Altstadt, Maxvorstadt, the east side and the suburbs. A day with four meetings in three districts works well with an hourly chauffeur: the driver keeps the car staged at the right kerb and handles luggage between stops. Because the old town has pedestrian zones, the driver will drop you at the nearest permitted point and walk the last stretch if needed.
If your trip connects Munich with other cities, the desk can book the other legs on the same invoice. Next stops are often Frankfurt or Zurich.
Alpine and castle day trips from Munich
Many visitors want a day in Bavaria's mountains and castles. Neuschwanstein is the best-known. The castle's official site says visits are by guided tour only, that online tickets are sold through hohenschwangau.de, and that on-site reservations are not possible. A chauffeur does not replace a ticket, so book the tour first and give us the slot time.
Travel conditions also change. The castle site noted that the main road through Schwangau has been completely closed since 15 September 2026 for renovation, with a detour via Hohenschwangau, and advises extra travel time. The local partner chauffeur plans around the diversion, and you should allow the extra time it suggests. Check the castle ticket centre before you go.
We do not quote Alpine distances here because routes vary by destination and season. The desk gives you the exact length and driving time for your itinerary when you enter it in the booker, and our private tours with driver page explains how a full-day itinerary is planned.
Driving in Munich: the low-emission zone
If you hire a car yourself, note that the whole area inside the Mittlerer Ring, including the ring road itself, is a low-emission zone. The City of Munich says vehicles registered abroad need a green sticker to enter, and you can order one from abroad through DEKRA, GTÜ or TÜV. Electric vehicles with an E number plate have not needed the sticker since 1 October 2026, according to the city's page.
For chauffeur transfers this is not your concern. The partner supplies a compliant vehicle. The point matters if you drive yourself, particularly for an out-of-town trip that ends inside the ring.
Entry rules for travellers flying from Toronto
Canadians can visit Germany visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, counted across the whole Schengen area, per Global Affairs Canada. The passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from Schengen. The page says ETIAS applications are not yet open and that the Entry/Exit System records your trip details and biometrics on entry. Travellers from other countries should check their own government's rules.
Vehicles and extras
Choose from the Enroutz.ca fleet: the Executive Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar), First Class Sedan (S-Class or similar), Luxury SUV (up to 6 passengers and 5 to 6 large bags) or Executive Sprinter (up to 12). Exact models are confirmed at booking, and Maybach or Rolls-Royce is available on request, with availability confirmed at booking. Child and booster seats are available at booking, and most vehicles carry Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers.
Chauffeurs on our bookings never photograph clients or post about trips, and we sign NDAs when asked.
Frequently asked questions
How far is Munich Airport from the city centre?
The City of Munich says about 28 km (17 miles) northeast of downtown. By S-Bahn it takes 40 to 45 minutes, and by road typically 35 to 50 minutes depending on traffic.
Is the S-Bahn a lower-cost option than a chauffeur from Munich Airport?
Yes, it is the lowest-cost option and is a sensible choice for one traveller with a light bag in daytime. A chauffeur is better for groups, families, heavy luggage, late arrivals or a meeting waiting.
Which terminal will I arrive at in Munich?
Lufthansa, its subsidiaries and Star Alliance partners use Terminal 2 and the Satellite; other airlines use Terminal 1. Your confirmation names the terminal and the chauffeur tracks your flight.
Can you pick me up from the Oktoberfest?
Yes, at a street point near the grounds rather than at the gates. The city says there is no visitor parking on the Theresienwiese, so we agree a pickup point and time in advance.
Does Enroutz.ca arrange Neuschwanstein trips?
We can drive you there and back on a chauffeured day, but the castle requires a guided-tour ticket that you book yourself on the official site. Give us your slot time and we plan around it.
What happens if my flight is late?
Every flight is tracked, and the clock for waiting time starts at actual landing, with 60 free minutes on international arrivals.
Can I book a chauffeur from Munich to Frankfurt or Zurich?
Yes. The desk quotes intercity transfers by route and shows the fixed fare in the booker. We can also book the next city on the same invoice.
Do you offer meet and greet at Munich Airport?
Yes, as an add-on: a driver with a name board inside arrivals, who also helps with bags. You can use an alias on the board.
