A trade show is a logistics problem disguised as a business event. The people attending have fixed appointments, bulky bags, badges to collect and a hall that may be a kilometre from the nearest drop-off. Trade show transportation that works is therefore less about a car and more about a plan: the right building, the right door, the right hour and a chauffeur who is waiting when the last session ends.
This hub lists the venues and shows we cover. Toronto is the base. For shows in other countries, the Enroutz.ca desk books and invoices the ride, and a local chauffeur partner delivers it.
What is the best way to arrange trade show transportation?
Book a private chauffeur before you travel, give the desk your show, hall and appointment times, and let flight tracking handle delays. In Toronto the Enroutz.ca fleet drives; abroad a vetted local partner does. Enter any pickup in the booker and a fixed fare is quoted before you pay.
Exhibitors and visitors need different things from the same show. Exhibitors move early, move often and carry more. Visitors move at the speed of their appointment book. The desk plans both, and a single account can hold both on one invoice.
Dated calendar of shows we cover
These dates were published on the organisers' own websites when this page was written on 9 October 2026. Organisers occasionally revise dates, so reconfirm with them before you commit to flights.

The four Toronto venues for trade shows
Toronto-area shows cluster in four venues. They are in very different places, and the right car, the right time of departure and the right door all differ.

- Metro Toronto Convention Centre: downtown, with two buildings at 255 Front Street West and 222 Bremner Boulevard, joined to Union Station by the SkyWalk. Roughly 27 km (17 miles) from Pearson; plan on 30 to 50 minutes.
- Enercare Centre: 100 Princes' Boulevard at Exhibition Place, with seven halls and about a million square feet. Roughly 25 km (16 miles) from Pearson; plan on 30 to 50 minutes.
- Toronto Congress Centre: 650 Dixon Road in the airport district, with over a million square feet. Roughly 6 km (4 miles) from the terminals; plan on 10 to 20 minutes.
- The International Centre: 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga, about 3 km (2 miles) from Pearson, usually 5 to 15 minutes.
A single week can involve two of these. The Toronto Congress Centre and the International Centre are roughly 10 km (6 miles) apart, usually 15 to 25 minutes, and the convention centre is far enough from both that a cross-town meeting needs planning.
Exhibitors: build days, booth teams and timing
Exhibitors begin their trade show days before the public does. Build days start early, equipment arrives in stages and the team needs to be on the floor before the doors open. Some principles from the desk:

- Book the build days separately from the show days. Pickup times are different, and so is the vehicle.
- Match the vehicle to the headcount and the bags. Six passengers and five to six large bags fit a Luxury SUV; a dozen people with a dozen bags need the Executive Sprinter. Larger teams can use a mini-coach or coach with 20 to 56 seats on request.
- Separate freight from people. Display materials and signage belong with a freight forwarder, and the chauffeur moves the team. Our trade show transportation service page explains how the two are coordinated.
- Keep one named contact. The desk assigns a single point of contact for the group, around the clock.
Visitors and buyers: the one-day show
Buyers and visiting executives usually fly in, attend, meet and leave. The plan should serve a schedule built around appointments.

- Share your flight numbers so the pickup is tracked.
- Name the hall and the first appointment, not only the venue.
- Book the return as a timed pickup, with a margin for security lines.
- Add an hourly block if the day includes meetings in town.
For an executive who only needs a ride, the corporate chauffeur service page explains how a company books for a team, and corporate accounts include monthly invoicing.
Shows abroad: how the desk delivers them
For a show outside Toronto, the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner and booked, confirmed and invoiced by the Enroutz.ca desk. You get one booking, one confirmation, one invoice and one contact who answers at any hour. Partner vehicles are no more than four model years old, and up to seven for Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach. Enter the pickup anywhere in the world in the booker and the desk confirms a fixed quote.
Inside the USA, rides are delivered by US-licensed partners, since Canadian vehicles cannot do domestic point-to-point work. Trips between Toronto and the USA run from Toronto. Our USA hub, Europe hub and Middle East hub show the cities we serve, and the worldwide chauffeur network page describes how the partner network fits together.
The main groupings:
- Las Vegas, New York and Berlin: NAB, SEMA, CES and ITB are among the biggest on the calendar. Each show guide covers the venue, arrival patterns and rules to know.
- Barcelona and Paris: MWC at Fira Gran Via and the Paris Air Show, which are both busy in different seasons.
- Dubai: GITEX, the World Health Expo, the Arabian Travel Market and the Dubai Airshow fill the winter and spring calendar. Our Dubai chauffeur service page explains the city.
Roadshows and multi-city programmes
Some companies do not attend one show. They tour. A roadshow might visit Toronto, New York, London and Dubai in ten days, with a different venue in each city. The roadshow car service page explains how a single account books every leg, and city-to-city car service covers the intercity moves. A single invoice at month end covers all of it.
Getting to a Toronto trade show: an honest comparison
Public transit is the right answer to some of these journeys. The comparison below covers the downtown venues, which have the best rail links.
| Option | Typical time | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express to Union Station, then SkyWalk to the convention centre | About 25 to 30 minutes on the train | Lowest | Visitors with one bag |
| GO Transit | Varies by line | Lowest | Visitors from the GTA |
| Taxi | 30 to 50 minutes from Pearson | Metered | Individuals without a timetable |
| Rideshare | 30 to 60 minutes from Pearson | Surge-priced at peak hours | Flexible short trips |
| Hotel or organiser shuttle | Varies | Often included | Delegates whose show runs one |
| Rental car | 30 to 50 minutes | Daily rental plus parking | Visitors who tour afterwards |
| Private chauffeur from Enroutz.ca | 30 to 50 minutes from Pearson | Fixed fare via the booker | Executives, groups, speakers, anyone with luggage or a hard deadline |
For the two venues beside the airport, the picture is different: a hotel shuttle or a short taxi ride can be all you need, and the venue guides say so.
Entry rules, time zones and practical points
Check the entry rules before you fly. For travel to Canada, the government's eTA page explains the Electronic Travel Authorization, which as of 2026 it states costs CAN$7; whether you need one depends on your nationality. For the USA, Europe and the Gulf, check the official government page for your destination. We do not give immigration advice.
Allow for jet lag when you plan the first morning. A pickup that lands at 7 am for a 9 am show is realistic. A pickup that expects you at the booth within an hour of landing from Dubai is not.
Hotels near the shows
Hotel choice affects the transfer. Our hotels hub lists the Toronto properties we serve, and our Pearson airport hotels page covers the airport district, which suits the Congress Centre and the International Centre. For the convention centre, a downtown hotel gives the shortest ride.
Official sources worth bookmarking
Always confirm with the organiser. The CES, MWC Barcelona, GITEX, ITB Berlin and SEMA sites publish dates and venues. For Canada's entry rules, see the government's eTA page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does trade show transportation cost?
A fare is calculated for each trip from the pickup, the vehicle class and the time of day. The online booker displays it in full before payment, and corporate accounts are invoiced monthly.
Can you arrange transport for a show outside Canada?
Yes. A vetted, licensed and commercially insured local partner delivers the ride, and the Enroutz.ca desk books, confirms and invoices it. Enter the pickup in the booker and the desk confirms a fixed quote.
Which Toronto venue is nearest to the airport?
The International Centre in Mississauga, about 3 km (2 miles) from Pearson, then the Toronto Congress Centre, about 6 km (4 miles). Both are in the airport district. The downtown convention centre and Exhibition Place are 25 to 27 km away.
Can you move a whole exhibitor team?
Yes. The Executive Sprinter takes a team of 12 along with their 12 bags, and larger crews move in a mini-coach or coach with 20 to 56 seats on request. Availability is confirmed at booking.
Do you handle freight and booth materials?
No. We move people and their luggage. Display materials and freight belong with a freight forwarder or the show's official contractor. Our trade show service page explains how to coordinate the two.
Will the chauffeur wait through my meetings?
Yes, if you book an hourly block. Otherwise book a timed return, which asks less of the diary. Pickups away from airports include 15 minutes of waiting.
Is there a different cancellation deadline for big shows?
It can be: a large show or convention may set its own cutoff, which your confirmation states. Standard bookings are free to cancel more than 72 hours ahead, then 10%, 50% and 100% as the pickup nears.
Can you meet me inside arrivals with a name board?
Yes, as an add-on. An alias name can appear on the board if you prefer privacy. Flight tracking is included on every airport pickup, with 60 minutes of free waiting after an international landing.
Can I book several shows on one account?
Yes. A corporate account holds every booking in one place with monthly invoicing, and the desk assigns one contact for the programme.
