How does a chauffeur service across Canada work?
You make one booking on Enroutz.ca for any Canadian city. In Toronto, the GTA and Ontario the Toronto desk dispatches its own chauffeurs. Elsewhere in Canada a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local partner drives, while the desk confirms and invoices.
Canada is a country of long distances and strong local knowledge. A chauffeur who understands Vancouver's cruise terminal, Montréal's winter streets, Calgary's Stampede crowds or Halifax's waterfront is worth more than a larger company that sends a stranger with a satnav. At the same time, a traveller on a business trip from Dubai or New York should not have to find, vet and pay four separate suppliers in four cities.
Enroutz.ca solves the problem by splitting the work. Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario are operated directly from the Toronto desk, with Enroutz.ca vehicles and Enroutz.ca chauffeurs. Everywhere else in Canada the ride is delivered by a local chauffeur partner that has been vetted, is licensed and carries commercial insurance. Partner vehicles are no more than four model years old, and Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach are accepted up to seven. In every case the Toronto desk books, confirms and invoices the ride, so you receive one booking confirmation, one invoice and one point of contact, reachable around the clock.
The Canadian cities we cover
The table lists the main gateways and the page that describes each. Where an airport code appears, the page covers the pickup arrangements for that airport.

| City | Province | Main airport | What typically drives bookings | Page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Toronto and the GTA | Ontario | YYZ | Airport arrivals, Financial District, conventions, events | Black car service Toronto |
| Ottawa | Ontario | YOW | Government, diplomatic visits, conferences | Ottawa |
| Montréal | Québec | YUL | Festivals, conferences, Old Montréal | Montréal |
| Québec City | Québec | YQB | Old Québec, cruise calls, winter events | Québec City |
| Vancouver | British Columbia | YVR | Cruise terminal, convention centre, Whistler transfers | Vancouver |
| Calgary | Alberta | YYC | Energy-sector business, Stampede, Banff transfers | Calgary |
| Edmonton | Alberta | YEG | Business, events, Jasper gateway | Edmonton |
| Halifax | Nova Scotia | YHZ | Cruise pavilion, Peggy's Cove, business | Halifax |
| Winnipeg | Manitoba | YWG | Business, The Forks, northern gateway | Winnipeg |
Airport-specific pages for each of these, such as Montréal-Trudeau, Vancouver and Calgary, are collected on the airports hub.
Ontario: our home territory
Everything in Ontario is run from the Toronto desk. The core of the GTA is covered by Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham and Oakville pages, and the province-wide picture, including highways, airports, seasons and tolls, is on the Ontario page. The two most requested long trips from Toronto are Niagara Falls, about 122 km from Pearson, and Ottawa, about 450 km from Toronto.

Other Ontario destinations with their own pages include Muskoka cottage country and Kitchener-Waterloo. The Pearson Airport limo page explains Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 pickups, and the airport's own guidance directs pre-arranged vehicles to Door A in both terminals.
Québec: Montréal, Québec City and the mountains
Québec is a French-speaking province with its own rules of the road, its own seasons and its own sense of hospitality. Enroutz.ca delivers rides there through local partners. Start with the Québec province page, then see Montréal and Québec City for city detail. The two cities are the main stops on the VIA Rail corridor from Toronto, and rail arrivals are covered by the Montréal Central Station page.

French-language service is something you can request at booking. The desk confirms what is available for your date and city, and does not promise a French-speaking chauffeur in every case.
British Columbia: Vancouver, Whistler and the coast
Vancouver combines a major airport, a cruise terminal at Canada Place and the Sea-to-Sky route to Whistler. The British Columbia overview introduces the province, Vancouver covers the city, and Whistler covers the mountain transfer. Cruise passengers should also see the Vancouver cruise terminal page, and the cruise ports hub for the other Canadian and international ports.

Alberta, Nova Scotia and Manitoba
Alberta pairs two business cities with the mountain national parks. The Alberta page gives the overview, with Calgary, Edmonton and Banff as the city and destination pages. A transfer from Calgary's airport to Banff is a classic partner-delivered ride, and the Toronto desk books it exactly as it books a Pearson run.
Further east and onto the prairies, Halifax is the Atlantic gateway, with a harbourfront cruise pavilion and day trips along the coast. Winnipeg is the prairie gateway. Both are partner-delivered, with local drivers who know the airports and the seasonal road conditions.
Entering Canada: what to arrange before you fly
Most international visitors arrive by air, and the entry rules are simple but strict. The Government of Canada states that foreign nationals from visa-exempt countries who fly to Canada need an electronic travel authorization (eTA), and that US citizens are exempt from the requirement but must carry proper identification such as a valid US passport. The eTA costs CAD $7 as of 2026, the application is online in English and French, most applications are approved within minutes, and if documents are requested an email follows within 72 hours. The fee is non-refundable.
Use the official pages only: the eTA application page and the eligibility page. Lookalike sites exist, so apply only through the government website.
Our travelling to Toronto guide covers arrival procedure and first-night logistics in more detail, and the Toronto airport transfer page is written for inbound visitors from the US, Europe and the Middle East.
Moving between Canadian cities: choosing the right mode
Canada's distances change how you plan. A few principles help.
| Journey | Usually best by | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Within one metro area | Chauffeur, or transit if travelling light | Short distances, predictable fares in the booker |
| Toronto to Ottawa (about 450 km) | Flight, train or chauffeur | Flight is about an hour in the air, VIA Rail about 4.5 to 5 hours, and the drive is about 4.5 to 5 hours |
| Toronto to Montréal or Québec City | Train or flight; chauffeur for groups and luggage | The corridor is long enough that group size and baggage decide the mode |
| Toronto to Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton or Halifax | Flight | Distances are too long for road travel on most itineraries |
| Airport to mountain resort | Chauffeur | Mountain roads, luggage and ski equipment favour a door-to-door transfer |
Ottawa Tourism gives the Toronto-to-Ottawa figures above, and notes about 25 to 30 minutes by O-Train from Ottawa's airport to downtown. For travellers who prefer rail, VIA Rail runs the Corridor services between Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal and Québec City. The city-to-city car service page covers chauffeur rides from Toronto to nearby cities, and the train stations hub covers rail pickups, including Toronto Union Station and Ottawa station.
Airport pickups across the country
Every airport has its own pickup rules, and part of the value of using a single desk is that the desk already knows them. Two examples:
- Toronto Pearson: the airport directs pre-arranged vehicles to Door A in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, while on-demand limousines use separate curbside doors.
- Ottawa: the airport's ground transportation page lists pre-arranged service at Pillars 12 and 13 on the curb furthest from the terminal and asks drivers to wait in the cell phone lot until their passenger is ready.
Other airports use different doors, levels and rules. Your confirmation states the exact meeting point for your airport, whichever city you land in.
The service standards are the same wherever you land. Every airport pickup is tracked against live flight data. Free waiting after landing is 60 minutes on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic ones, and 15 minutes on other pickups. A chauffeur can meet you inside arrivals with a name board as an add-on, with an alias on request for privacy. The meet and greet service page explains it.
Cruise ports, stations and private aviation
Canada's ports are seasonal, and most are reached through partner chauffeurs. The cruise ports hub lists terminals worldwide, with Canadian pages for Toronto, Montréal, Québec City, Halifax and Vancouver. Embarkation days carry a lot of luggage and a tight timetable, so the desk plans around the ship's published schedule.
For private jets, the private aviation hub explains how chauffeurs are arranged at fixed-base operators, including the Toronto FBO page.
Business, conferences and recurring travel
A company that sends people to Canada regularly benefits from one supplier relationship that covers every city. Corporate accounts offer monthly invoicing and cost-centre references, and a travel manager or executive assistant can book on behalf of a principal. The corporate chauffeur service page explains the process, and the events hub and trade shows hub cover venues and conventions. For a roadshow that crosses cities, see roadshow car service.
Discretion applies everywhere. Chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are signed on request. Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service and not a security company, so there are no armed drivers or bodyguards; the desk works alongside a client's own security team.
Vehicles across Canada
All vehicles are "or similar", and the exact model is confirmed at booking. See the fleet page for the full range.
- Executive Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CT6 or Lyriq or similar): up to 3 passengers, 2 large and 2 cabin bags.
- First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar): up to 3 passengers, 2 large and 2 cabin bags.
- Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar): up to 6 passengers, 5 to 6 large bags.
- Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter): up to 12 passengers, 12 bags.
Mini-coach and coach options from 20 to 56 seats, Maybach, Rolls-Royce, stretch limousine and armoured vehicles are available on request, with availability confirmed at booking. Outside Ontario, partner vehicles meet the age limits above. Most vehicles have Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers, and child, toddler and booster seats can be requested.
Fares and cancellation
The online booker takes any pickup in Canada. Enter the address, choose a vehicle and the desk confirms a fixed quote; the exact fare is shown before payment. There are no rate tables on this site.
Cancellation is measured from the scheduled pickup. More than 72 hours' notice carries no charge. At 72 hours or less the charge is 10%, at 48 hours or less 50%, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%. Large events and conventions may carry a different deadline, written on your confirmation.
Beyond Canada
Many Canadian itineraries continue into the United States, Europe or the Gulf. The USA hub, the Europe hub and the Middle East hub list the cities covered, and the worldwide chauffeur network page explains the standards behind the partner network.
Frequently asked questions
Does Enroutz.ca have its own vehicles across Canada?
In Toronto, the GTA and Ontario, yes: the Toronto desk dispatches Enroutz.ca chauffeurs and vehicles. Elsewhere in Canada a vetted, licensed, commercially insured local partner drives, and the desk books, confirms and invoices the ride.
How old are the partner vehicles?
No more than four model years. Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach may be up to seven. The exact vehicle is confirmed at booking.
How do I get a price for Vancouver, Montréal or Calgary?
Enter your pickup and destination in the online booker. It shows the fare, and the desk confirms a fixed quote for any pickup worldwide. There are no published rate tables.
Do I need an eTA for Canada?
Visa-exempt foreign nationals flying to Canada do. US citizens are exempt but should carry a valid passport. Apply only on the official Government of Canada website.
Can I request a French-speaking chauffeur?
You can request one at booking. The desk confirms what is available for your date and city, and cannot promise French-speaking service in every location.
Can one booking cover several Canadian cities?
Yes. Make a booking for each leg, and the desk coordinates confirmations and sends one invoice. Corporate accounts add monthly invoicing and cost-centre references.
Is a chauffeur better than the train between Toronto and Ottawa?
For a solo traveller going station to station, the train takes about the same time and may be more relaxing. A chauffeur suits groups, luggage and door-to-door pickups.
Do you provide armed drivers or bodyguards?
No. Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service, not a security company. We work alongside a client's own security team.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Flights are tracked live, and the pickup moves with the landing time. International arrivals include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, and domestic arrivals include 30.
