InterContinental Toronto Centre car service: Front Street, Union Station and the Convention Centre
Front Street West is where three parts of Toronto meet: the train station at its eastern end, the convention district to the west, and the towers of the financial core to the north. The InterContinental Toronto Centre sits on this street, which makes it a natural base for anyone who arrives by rail, attends a show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre or has meetings on Bay Street. The InterContinental Toronto Centre car service from Enroutz.ca is designed around those three movements.
Enroutz.ca works from its Toronto desk with fleet and chauffeurs of its own. Travellers arriving from the United States, Europe and the Middle East book before they fly, see the exact fixed fare for their addresses and vehicle class, and receive written confirmation. Whether the trip is the long drive from Pearson or a five-minute hop between a train platform and a hotel door, the booker works the same way.
How far is the InterContinental Toronto Centre from Pearson?

Toronto Pearson is about 27 km from Front Street West. Outside peak hours the drive normally takes 30 to 50 minutes via Highway 427 and the Gardiner Expressway, and weekday rush traffic can push it past an hour. Union Station is a short distance away.
The route is the one the Metro Toronto Convention Centre itself recommends to drivers coming from the airport. Its getting here page says to take Highway 401 east to Highway 427 south and follow it to the Gardiner Expressway, then leave at Spadina Avenue for the North Building, which has the address 255 Front Street West, or at York Street for the South Building at 222 Bremner Boulevard. Because Front Street West is close to those exits, the last stage of the drive from the airport is shorter here than for hotels farther east or north.
That does not make the arrival trivial. Cars heading for the convention garages queue on show mornings, and streets around the station fill when a train arrives. Your chauffeur plans the approach before you land and tells you where the car will be.
Arriving by air: step by step
- Book before you fly. Enter your flight number and your hotel. The booker proposes the right vehicle class for your party.
- Land and clear arrivals. Pearson has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and your confirmation names the one for your airline. You have 60 minutes of free waiting after landing on an international arrival and 30 minutes on a domestic one.
- Meet. A name-board meet and greet is available as an add-on, with an alias on the board if you prefer.
- Ride. Water, chargers and Wi-Fi are available in most vehicles. Tell the desk if you need a child, toddler or booster seat.
- Arrive. The chauffeur unloads at the entrance, and the fare was settled when you booked.

For customs timing and terminal details see the Pearson airport limo page. If you are visiting from abroad, the Government of Canada's eTA page lists a CAN$7 application fee as of 2026.
Arriving by train: Union Station and the UP Express
The station is the other main way into this part of the city, and the hotel's address makes it convenient. The UP Express connects Pearson and Union Station, and its own site advertises a ride from the airport to downtown in 28 minutes, with intermediate stops at Weston, Mount Dennis and Bloor. The Convention Centre's directions describe the walk from the UP platform: through the SkyWalk corridor, down to Lower Simcoe Street, then west along Front Street. That is a useful detail if you are choosing between the train and a car.

A chauffeur can meet you at the station instead of at the airport. This is common for guests arriving on VIA Rail from Ottawa or Montréal, on a GO train from the suburbs, or on the UP Express with a heavy case. The station page, Union Station Toronto, explains the pickup procedure. For longer rail journeys, see our Ottawa and Montréal Central Station pages.
Honest comparison: Pearson to Front Street West

| Option | Typical time | Cost note | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| UP Express to Union Station, then a short walk or ride | About 28 minutes of train per the operator, plus the walk to Front Street | Lowest; as of 2026 the adult one-way fare is $12.35 on the operator's fares page | Light travellers on a daytime flight; this is a very good choice |
| Airport taxi | 30 to 55 minutes | Metered | Unplanned arrivals |
| Rideshare | 30 to 55 minutes plus the wait for a car | Surge-priced at busy times | Short-notice trips |
| Hotel or conference shuttle | Varies | Ask the hotel or organiser | Delegates on a published timetable |
| Private chauffeur from Enroutz.ca | 30 to 50 minutes, door to door | Fixed fare via booker | Heavy luggage, groups, late flights, early starts, anyone who wants a named driver |
This is one Toronto hotel address where the train is a sensible option for a single traveller with one case, because Union Station is on the same street. The advantage of a chauffeur appears when you arrive late at night, when you have more than one bag or more than one person, or when your schedule has no slack. Our chauffeur versus rideshare guide sets out every option in full.
Convention-day transport
When the Metro Toronto Convention Centre is full, the hotel fills with exhibitors and visitors. The centre's own page lists indoor parking for about 1,700 vehicles across the two buildings, and describes garage entrances on Simcoe Street and Lower Simcoe Street, but on show mornings a chauffeur is often the better answer. Exhibitors with cases, display material and giveaways can use a Luxury SUV or a Sprinter to the loading area, while senior visitors who need to step out at the door can use a First Class Sedan.
Common show movements include the following:
- Exhibitor arrivals. A crew of four arrives on two flights; one Sprinter collects both groups.
- Visiting buyers. A First Class Sedan takes a buyer from a meeting on Bay Street to the show floor, waits and returns.
- Evening receptions. The chauffeur drops a group at a restaurant, waits and brings them back to the hotel, or onward to another venue.
- Departures. Staggered pickups in fifteen-minute steps prevent a queue of cars on the day the show ends.
A large event or convention can have its own cancellation deadline, noted on your confirmation. See the Metro Toronto Convention Centre page, the trade show transportation page, the Canadian International AutoShow page and the trade shows hub.

Business days around Bay Street
Many guests choose this address because their meetings are within a short drive: banks, law firms and head offices. The hourly chauffeur service lets a driver wait between meetings and take you to the next address, and the roadshow car service page explains how multi-city investor tours are planned. For companies that book for many travellers, corporate accounts are invoiced monthly with cost-centre references; see corporate accounts and the corporate chauffeur service page. The Toronto business travel guide shows how to time the 401, the Gardiner and the Don Valley Parkway.
Early flights and winter mornings
The departure that tests a car service is the 6:00 am international flight in January. Snow is not unusual, plough crews work through the night, and the Gardiner can be slow even at five. When the forecast is poor, the desk may advise an earlier pickup, and you receive a message the evening before. The advice for travellers is the same all year round: be in the lobby at the agreed time, keep your passport accessible and check in online beforehand, so the only task left at the airport is the bag drop.
For late-evening arrivals, the same logic works in reverse. A flight that lands at midnight after a delay still has a chauffeur waiting, because the pickup is tracked, and the free waiting period starts at the actual landing time.
Billy Bishop and the island
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is the other airport for downtown guests. According to its own site, the airport is at 2 Eireann Quay and opens from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. Our Billy Bishop page covers the tunnel and ferry options, and the airport limo Toronto page compares all the airports within reach.
Leisure guests and day trips
For leisure guests, the hotel is a short drive from most of the downtown sights; the Toronto attractions page lists them with distances. The tourism board's Destination Toronto site offers listings and event information. Beyond the city, Niagara Falls is about 130 km away, and the Niagara Falls car service page and the private tours with driver page provide sample itineraries.
Discretion
Hotels near a convention centre and a rail hub host a broad mix of travellers. Enroutz.ca takes bookings under an alias on request, signs NDAs on request and instructs chauffeurs not to photograph clients or post about trips. We provide chauffeurs and nothing more, so there are no armed drivers or bodyguards, and we work with a client's own team where one exists. See the VIP chauffeur page.
Onward travel, and other Toronto hotels
For a trip to another city, enter any pickup worldwide in the booker. The desk confirms a fixed quote, and a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner delivers the ride, all under one booking reference. Our worldwide chauffeur network page sets out how partners are vetted. To compare nearby hotels, see the hotels hub, the Fairmont Royal York page and the Westin Harbour Castle page.
Frequently asked questions
How far is the InterContinental Toronto Centre from Pearson Airport?
It is about 27 km. The drive usually takes 30 to 50 minutes outside peak hours and can take over an hour in the weekday rush.
Is the hotel near Union Station?
Front Street West runs from the station towards the Convention Centre, and the hotel is on that street. Ask the hotel for the exact walking route from your entrance, and tell the booker if you want a chauffeur to meet your train.
Can you meet me at Union Station?
Yes. Enter Union Station as the pickup and your train details in the notes. The chauffeur confirms the meeting point before you arrive.
Is the UP Express a good alternative to a car?
For a single traveller with one bag on a daytime flight, yes. The operator lists a 28-minute ride and, as of 2026, an adult one-way fare of $12.35. For groups, heavy cases and late arrivals, a booked car is easier.
How long will my chauffeur wait at the airport?
International arrivals include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, domestic ones include 30 minutes, and other pickups include 15 minutes.
What is the cancellation policy?
More than 72 hours' notice carries no charge. At 72 hours or less it is 10%, at 48 hours or less it is 50%, and at 24 hours or less or a no-show it is 100%, measured from the scheduled pickup time. Large events and conventions may carry a different deadline, stated on your confirmation.
Can you transport exhibition materials?
Yes, within the vehicle's luggage capacity. A Luxury SUV carries five to six large bags, and an Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 bags. Tell the desk the number and size of cases when you book.
Do you provide security?
No. We provide drivers, and we work beside any security team a client already has.
