Landing in Dubai on a business jet changes the ground-transport question. An airline passenger has one airport and a terminal number. A private-aviation passenger has two airports, at least two operators, and a decision about which one the aircraft will use that is sometimes made the day before. A Dubai private jet terminal chauffeur has to be waiting at the right one.
This page explains how the transfer works at Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum International, DWC) and Dubai International (DXB), what the airport and the operator publish, and how to book through the Enroutz.ca desk in Toronto.
How does a Dubai private jet terminal chauffeur transfer work?
You give the booker the arrival airport (DWC or DXB), the handling agent or terminal, the aircraft registration if you have it, and the destination. A licensed local partner chauffeur is assigned, the Enroutz.ca desk tracks the arrival, and the fare is fixed and shown before you pay.
We ask for the aircraft registration, the operator or handler, the planned landing time, passenger names and bag count. The desk uses the registration to follow the arrival and adjust the pickup if the landing time moves, which on a charter it often does.
Because Dubai is outside our own operating area, the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner, and it is booked, confirmed and invoiced by the Enroutz.ca desk. You deal with one booking, one confirmation, one invoice and one point of contact around the clock. Partner vehicles are no more than four model years old; Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach vehicles can be up to seven.
See the worldwide chauffeur network page for the standards and the private aviation hub for every FBO we serve.
Two airports, two addresses: DWC and DXB
Dubai is one of the few cities where business aircraft routinely use two different international airports. Both are open to private traffic, and the choice matters because they are on opposite sides of the emirate.
- Dubai World Central (DWC), Al Maktoum International sits in Dubai South, inland and to the south-west of the city. It is the newer of the two.
- Dubai International (DXB) is the old airport, on the city's eastern side, close to Downtown Dubai, DIFC and the creek. Its business-aviation facilities are the shortest drive to the central districts.
Operators choose between them on slot availability, on whether the aircraft is large, on parking, and on handling arrangements. Do not assume. Ask your flight department or charter broker for the airport in writing and send us that exact airport name. If the plan changes after you have booked, tell the desk and the pickup is moved; the fare is re-quoted against the new addresses before anything is charged.
What the operator and the airport publish about DWC
Two sources are worth reading before you land. Dubai Airports runs the DWC passenger website, and the operator Jetex publishes a page for its Dubai DWC FBO.

Jetex describes its Dubai terminal as the Private VIP Terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport, listing its address as Dubai South. The operator's page lists services including ground handling, security services, catering, hangarage, crew and VIP transportation, concierge, meeting rooms, lounges, shower facilities and round-the-clock operations. It also shows the airport as an airport of entry with customs available, and it lists customs and immigration as a service. The page mentions an airside transfer in a Rolls-Royce as part of the operator's own offering; that is the operator's service and is separate from the road transfer we provide once you are through the terminal.
Dubai Airports' DWC page covers the public side of the airport: a taxi service run by Dubai Taxi Company, an app-booked limousine option through Bolt, bus routes F55 to Expo Metro Station and N55 to the Ibn Battuta stations, each running about every 30 minutes, and free parking for airport users. None of those are aimed at someone stepping off a private jet with a bag handler and a meeting in 90 minutes, which is why a pre-booked chauffeur is the usual choice from the business-aviation terminal.
What the operator publishes about DXB
Jetex also lists a Dubai DXB location at Dubai International Airport, which it identifies as its global headquarters. The listing shows the airport as an airport of entry with customs, lists customs and immigration arrangements, entry and landing permits and visa applications among its services, and states that slots are required and handling is mandatory.

That last point is the useful one for a passenger. At DXB, a business-aviation arrival is a coordinated event: the aircraft has a slot, the handler is arranged in advance, and the passengers are met by the handling team. Your chauffeur's job is to be at the agreed pickup point when the handler brings you out, with the vehicle already positioned. For that reason we ask for the handler's name and a mobile contact for the handling agent on the day, and we pass the chauffeur's name and vehicle details back to them.
Jetex is named here because its own site confirms these facilities; your charter documents will say which handler you are using, and we work with whichever one your flight department chose.
Distances and drive times from each airport
All times are typical for a car moving normally; Dubai traffic is heaviest at the morning and evening commutes and on weekend evenings around the main shopping and dining districts. These are approximations, and the booker shows the exact distance for your address.

| Journey | Distance (about) | Typical drive time |
|---|---|---|
| DWC to Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah | 45 to 55 km (28 to 34 miles) | 40 to 60 minutes |
| DWC to Downtown Dubai and DIFC | 65 to 75 km (40 to 47 miles) | 55 to 80 minutes |
| DWC to Dubai International (DXB) | about 70 km (43 miles) | 55 to 75 minutes |
| DWC to Abu Dhabi city | about 150 km (93 miles) | 1 hour 30 to 2 hours |
| DXB to Downtown Dubai and DIFC | 10 to 15 km (6 to 9 miles) | 15 to 30 minutes |
| DXB to Palm Jumeirah | about 45 km (28 miles) | 40 to 60 minutes |
If your itinerary puts you in Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi chauffeur service page and the Abu Dhabi airport page cover the arrival from the other direction. ## Palm Jumeirah from a private jet
A large share of private arrivals in Dubai head for the Palm. If your hotel is on the crescent or the trunk, the road from DWC takes the coastal side of the city and joins the Palm via its main entrance road. The DXB route is shorter and heads through the city before reaching the coast.
Tell us the exact hotel or villa name and the gate or entrance if it is private, because many residences on the Palm have gated access that needs your name in advance. For a family with ten bags, a second vehicle for the luggage is often calmer.
Our pages for two hotels on the Palm and in the Jumeirah area give you a feel for the arrival: see the Atlantis The Royal transfer page and the Burj Al Arab page. Both depend on the hotel's own access rules, which change, so we confirm the entrance with the hotel when we take the booking.
Downtown Dubai, DIFC and the business districts
If you are in Dubai to work, you are most likely heading for Downtown Dubai, the Dubai International Financial Centre or the district around Sheikh Zayed Road. From DXB, that is a short drive. From DWC it is a longer one, and the length of the drive is the best argument for a vehicle in which you can work.

A First Class Sedan suits one or two executives who need to take calls; a Luxury SUV suits a team of four to six with bags; the Executive Sprinter handles a delegation of up to twelve. Most vehicles carry Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers, and the exact model is confirmed at booking. See the fleet page for the classes.
If you are landing for a conference week, the Dubai chauffeur service page covers the whole city, and the GITEX page, the Arabian Travel Market page and the Dubai Airshow page describe how event weeks affect ground transport. As a rule, plan extra time on the days an exhibition opens and closes.
Meeting your aircraft: what we need from you
For a private arrival, this is the information that makes the pickup run without phone calls on the ramp:
- The airport: DWC or DXB, confirmed by your flight department.
- The aircraft registration and the operator or charter company.
- The handler or terminal your aircraft is using, and a contact number for the handling agent on the day.
- Passenger names, or an alias if the booking must not carry your own name. The name-board meet-and-greet is an add-on, and the board can carry an alias for privacy.
- The number of passengers and bags, including golf clubs, hard-case instruments or anything oversized.
- The first destination with the full address, building name and entrance.
Whether a road vehicle may drive onto the apron and meet the aircraft on the ramp is decided by the handler and the airport's security rules. We do not promise it. If your handler allows it, we ask them to authorise the chauffeur's name in advance; if they do not, the chauffeur waits at the terminal's pickup area and meets you as you leave the building. Ask your handler which applies.
On waiting time: international arrivals include 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, domestic 30 minutes, and other pickups 15 minutes. Your confirmation states which one applies to your booking. The desk tracks the arrival, so a late landing moves the pickup without you needing to call.
Customs, immigration and the first ten minutes
Both Jetex listings show airports of entry with customs available, and each operator says it arranges customs and immigration. Entry rules for your nationality are a matter for the UAE authorities and your handling agent, not for us. What we can control is the next step. Make sure your passport, any visa document and the handler's paperwork are in your hand before you leave the aircraft, and tell the chauffeur whether you want to go straight to the hotel or stop somewhere first. If your group is travelling with a security team of its own, tell us in advance so the vehicle plan matches theirs. Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service, not a security company; we have no armed drivers and no bodyguards, and we work alongside a client's own security team. The executive protection transport page explains how that cooperation works.
Which ground transport suits a private-jet arrival?
How the realistic options compare from the Dubai business-aviation terminals:
| Option | Time to Dubai Marina / Palm from DWC | Cost note | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-booked chauffeur (Enroutz.ca) | 40 to 60 minutes | Fixed fare via booker | Anyone with a schedule, luggage, or a need for privacy |
| Airport taxi (Dubai Taxi Company) | 40 to 60 minutes | Metered | Light luggage, no fixed schedule, comfortable with a taxi |
| App-booked limousine through Bolt | 40 to 60 minutes | App quote | Travellers who already use the app and can wait for a car |
| Rental car | 40 to 60 minutes | Rental plus fuel and parking | Self-drivers who know the roads; not for a first visit |
The plain advice is that a taxi is a perfectly good choice for a single traveller with one bag and no schedule. A chauffeur wins when there are several passengers, a meeting or dinner to reach, luggage that will not fit in a saloon, or a requirement that the vehicle and the chauffeur are known in advance. The chauffeur versus rideshare guide goes through the same trade-offs in more detail.
Vehicles and special requests
The Executive Sedan and First Class Sedan carry up to three passengers with two large and two cabin bags each. The Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar) takes up to six passengers and five to six large bags, and the Executive Sprinter up to twelve passengers with twelve bags. Maybach, Rolls-Royce, stretch limousine and armoured vehicles are available on request, with availability confirmed at booking; armoured vehicles are sourced through vetted partners.
Child, toddler and booster seats are available on request at booking. Chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are signed on request. We never promise alcohol on board; local law applies, and Dubai's rules are strict.
Booking from Toronto, and what it means for cancellation
For a trip that starts in Toronto, see our Toronto FBO page and the black car service in Toronto page; one booking can cover your journey to the FBO and the Dubai leg after you land.
Open the booker, enter the pickup anywhere in the world, add your aircraft details, and the desk confirms a fixed quote. Cancellation terms are: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%, measured from the scheduled pickup time. Large events and conventions may carry a different deadline, which is stated on the confirmation. The desk re-times the pickup when the aircraft is re-timed.
If your trip includes more of the Gulf, the Middle East hub lists every city we cover, and the Dubai International transfer page covers the airline-terminal arrival for anyone in your group who is not on the aircraft.
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer a chauffeur for private jets arriving at Dubai World Central (DWC)?
Yes. The Enroutz.ca desk books a licensed local partner chauffeur to meet you at the business-aviation terminal your aircraft is using at DWC. You give us the registration, the handler and the destination, and the fare is fixed and quoted before you pay.
Which Dubai airport do private jets use, DWC or DXB?
Both are used. Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum International) and Dubai International each have business-aviation facilities, and operators choose between them. Your flight department or charter broker will confirm which one your aircraft is using; send us the airport and handler and we match the pickup.
How far is DWC from Palm Jumeirah?
About 45 to 55 km (28 to 34 miles), usually 40 to 60 minutes by road, depending on traffic and which part of the Palm you are going to. The booker shows the exact distance and fare for your hotel or villa before you confirm.
How far is DXB from Downtown Dubai?
About 10 to 15 km (6 to 9 miles), usually 15 to 30 minutes outside peak hours. From DXB the central districts are close; from DWC they are a much longer drive.
Can the chauffeur meet me at the aircraft?
That is decided by the handler and the airport's security rules, so we cannot promise it. If your handler authorises it, we give them the chauffeur's name in advance. If not, the chauffeur waits at the terminal pickup area and meets you as you come out.
Do I need to tell you the aircraft registration?
It helps. The desk uses it to follow the arrival and adjust the pickup when landing times move. If you do not have it yet, give us the operator and planned landing time and add it later.
Can you carry golf bags, instruments or other oversized luggage?
Yes, if you tell us when you book. Oversized items change the vehicle class, and sometimes a second vehicle for the luggage is the better plan.
Do you provide armed drivers or bodyguards in Dubai?
No. Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service, not a security company. We do not provide armed drivers or bodyguards, and we work alongside a client's own security team. Armoured vehicles can be arranged on request through vetted partners, with availability confirmed at booking.
How do I book a Dubai private-jet transfer from Toronto?
Use the online booker, enter any pickup worldwide, and add the aircraft details. The Toronto desk confirms a fixed quote, issues one confirmation and one invoice, and stays your point of contact before, during and after the trip.
