Orlando International is a family airport and a business airport at the same time, and it is rarely quiet. Terminal A and Terminal B fill with children in Mickey ears, while the new Terminal C quietly handles a growing share of the international traffic. Whatever the mix, the road outside is the same: a handful of toll roads, Interstate 4, and a theme-park region that is spread across more than 30 km of Central Florida. An Orlando airport car service has one job here, which is to get your party to the right gate of the right resort, with the car seats installed and the luggage in one trip. This page explains how it works at MCO, what the real alternatives are and when a coach or a train is the smarter choice.
Orlando MCO car service from Enroutz.ca
Enroutz.ca is a Toronto-based chauffeur desk. For Orlando, the ride is delivered by a vetted, licensed and commercially insured local chauffeur partner, while the booking, the confirmation and the invoice stay with the Toronto desk: one booking, one confirmation, one invoice and a single point of contact, 24 hours a day. Trips inside the United States use US-licensed partners, because Canadian vehicles cannot do domestic point-to-point work there.
Toronto and Orlando are connected by frequent flights, and the Toronto desk is used to handling families on the way to a holiday and groups on the way to a conference. The US Customs and Border Protection Preclearance page lists Toronto Pearson and Billy Bishop as Canadian preclearance airports, which means inspection takes place before boarding and, according to CBP, travellers skip CBP and TSA inspection on arrival in the United States. On a direct flight from Toronto you land and go straight to baggage claim. If your journey begins in Toronto, see Pearson airport limo.
What is the best way to get from Orlando airport to Disney World or Universal?

For most families a pre-booked chauffeur in a Luxury SUV is the simplest option: one fixed fare, a car seat fitted and the driver waiting at the terminal. Walt Disney World's Lake Buena Vista area is about 30 km (19 miles) from MCO and Universal Orlando about 22 km (14 miles), each usually 25 to 55 minutes.
The cheapest ways are the Lynx city bus and the hotel shuttles. They work if you are travelling light and have time to spare. They are not the right answer for six people, a stroller, a car seat and four large bags after a four-hour flight.
MCO terminals A, B and C and where your driver waits
The airport's terminal maps show three terminals: A, B and a newer Terminal C, plus the train station that sits between them. Terminals A and B are connected to the train station by the Terminal Link on its Level 3; Terminal C is reached from the train station at Level 5.

According to the airport, taxis, town cars, limousines and shuttles are listed on Level 1 of Terminals A and B, and ride-share pickups are on Levels 2 and 3. Terminal C lists customs and immigration, bag claim and a meet-and-greet area on Level 6, with Global Entry enrolment, out-of-town shuttles and resort transportation on Level 1. Because the terminal layout is complicated, your Enroutz.ca confirmation names the exact meeting point for your terminal, and the driver sends a message when you land.
If you want a name-board meet-and-greet inside arrivals, with an alias on the board if you prefer privacy, see meet and greet. That is especially useful in Terminal C's international arrivals, where there is a separate hall.
Brightline, the train in the terminal
Brightline has its Orlando station inside the airport complex. The airport's terminal page lists Brightline at Level 5 of the train station, with access to Terminal C, and Level 3 as the Terminal Link to Terminals A and B. If your trip is Orlando to Miami, West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale, the train is a serious alternative to a car: it avoids I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. If your trip is to a theme park or a resort, Brightline does not go there.

For a chain such as MCO to Miami by train, then a chauffeur for the Miami leg, see the Miami airport page and the Miami car service page.
Distances and drive times from MCO

| MCO to downtown Orlando | about 19 km (12 miles) | 20–40 minutes |
| MCO to Universal Orlando | about 22 km (14 miles) | 25–50 minutes |
| MCO to Walt Disney World / Lake Buena Vista | about 30 km (19 miles) | 25–55 minutes |

Orlando to Port Canaveral: the cruise transfer
The cruise port is about 70 km (45 miles) east of the airport on the Beachline Expressway. This is the transfer with the least public-transport competition. The airport's own ground transportation page lists a taxi rate for Port Canaveral and no local bus or shuttle-van figure for the same trip, so the practical choices are a taxi, a cruise line's own shuttle, or a pre-booked chauffeur.
A private car matters here for three reasons. First, the port runs on a timetable: ships have an all-aboard time that is not negotiable. Second, cruise luggage is heavy. Third, the car leaves from the arrivals door when you are ready rather than when a coach is full. Land at least 3 hours before all-aboard, and tell the desk the ship and the terminal. The Port Canaveral site has the terminal maps and arrival guides, and our Port Canaveral cruise page covers the pickup.
Your options from MCO compared
| Option | Typical time to the theme parks | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-booked chauffeur (Enroutz.ca) | 25–55 minutes | Fixed fare via booker | Families, groups, car seats, late flights, cruise connections |
| Taxi | 25–55 minutes | Metered, rates posted by destination | Small parties who prefer to choose at the stand |
| Rideshare | 25–60 minutes | Surge-priced at peak times | Light bags, flexible plans |
| Shuttle van (shared) | 45–90 minutes with stops | Per seat, lower | Couples and solo travellers |
| Lynx city bus | Varies; transfers likely | Lowest | Light bags, patient travellers |
| Hotel or resort shuttle | Varies | Usually free | Hotels that offer one |
| Brightline | Station only; no theme-park stops | Fare by route | Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach |
The airport's ground transportation page lists approximate rates by destination for taxis and shuttle vans, a local bus and hotel shuttles. If you are a couple with one bag per person, the shared shuttle or the bus will save money and we will say so. For a family of five arriving in the late afternoon thunderstorm season, a private car is calmer.
Family travel: car seats, strollers and luggage
Orlando is where car seats matter most. Child, toddler and booster seats are available on request at booking, so tell us the ages and weights of the children when you book. A Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar) carries up to 6 passengers and 5–6 large bags, and an Executive Sprinter carries up to 12 passengers and 12 bags. If you are a multi-family group of more than 12, a mini-coach or coach (20 to 56 seats) is available on request; see group transportation.
Practical tips for a family arrival: book the vehicle for the number of bags, not only for the number of people; tell the desk if you have a stroller or a wheelchair; and add the name-board meet-and-greet if the children are tired and you want to meet the driver inside the terminal.
Business, conventions and the I-Drive corridor
International Drive is Orlando's convention district, with the Orange County Convention Center at its heart. Convention weeks fill the hotels and the roads. See meetings, incentives and conferences, trade show transportation and corporate accounts for how we manage delegations. For multi-stop days between hotels, a venue and a dinner, an hourly chauffeur keeps one car and driver on standby. City information is on the Orlando car service page.
Orlando roads in plain English
- Interstate 4 is the spine of the region and runs through downtown and the theme-park area. It is the slowest road at rush hour and after a major event.
- Toll roads such as the Beachline (SR 528) and the Central Florida GreeneWay (SR 417) are the usual routes to Port Canaveral and the south-west resorts. The fixed fare in the booker includes them; you do not pay at a toll booth.
- Afternoon storms from June to September can slow roads and delay flights. The driver tracks the flight and adjusts the pickup.
Vehicles for MCO pickups
All classes are "or similar", with the exact model confirmed at booking.
- Executive Sedan: Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CT6 or Lyriq or similar; up to 3 passengers, 2 large bags and 2 cabin bags.
- First Class Sedan: Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar; up to 3 passengers, same bag allowance.
- Luxury SUV: Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar; up to 6 passengers and 5–6 large bags.
- Executive Sprinter: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter; up to 12 passengers and 12 bags.
- On request: mini-coach and coach (20 to 56 seats), Maybach, Rolls-Royce and stretch limousine, with availability confirmed at booking.
See the fleet page. Partner vehicles in the United States are no more than four model years old, and up to seven for Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maybach. Wi-Fi, water and phone chargers are in most vehicles.
Waiting time and cancellations
Free waiting is 60 minutes after an international landing and 30 minutes after a domestic landing. More than 72 hours' notice means no charge; at 72 hours or less the fee is 10%; at 48 hours or less, 50%; at 24 hours or less or on a no-show, 100%, measured from the scheduled pickup time. Large events can carry a different deadline, stated on the confirmation.
Chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and NDAs are signed on request. Enroutz.ca is a chauffeur service, not a security company: no armed drivers and no bodyguards. For other airports, see the airports hub, the USA hub, Miami MIA and Atlanta ATL.
