How do you get to the National Bank Open in Toronto without the traffic stress?
Plan the transfer around the match schedule, not the map. Sobeys Stadium is in the north-west of Toronto, about 20–25 km from downtown hotels, usually 30–50 minutes. A pre-booked car from Enroutz.ca gives you a fixed fare, a confirmed pickup time and a confirmed return, which matters most after the last match.
The National Bank Open is a combined tennis tournament, with a men's ATP event and a women's WTA event, and the two events alternate between Toronto and Montreal. The organiser's website lists July 31 to August 12, 2027 for both cities, with the 2027 ATP men's event in Toronto and the WTA women's event in Montreal. The Toronto venue is named on the site as Sobeys Stadium; the Montreal venue is IGA Stadium.
That makes this a good page for two kinds of traveller: Torontonians who want a calm evening, and visitors arriving in Toronto from the USA, Europe and the Middle East for a tournament week. We are a Toronto-based chauffeur desk, and in Toronto and the GTA our own fleet and chauffeurs do the driving.
National Bank Open 2027 at a glance
The tournament website gives the following. Check it for the match schedule, which is published closer to the date.

| Item | What the organiser publishes |
|---|---|
| Toronto dates | July 31 – August 12, 2027 |
| Montreal dates | July 31 – August 12, 2027 |
| 2027 men's event | ATP, Toronto |
| 2027 women's event | WTA, Montreal |
| Toronto venue | Sobeys Stadium |
| Montreal venue | IGA Stadium |
The two events swap cities from year to year, so the men's tournament returns to Toronto in 2027 after a year in Montreal.

The date overlap that matters in 2027
Here is something worth knowing before you book a hotel. The tournament's Toronto window opens on July 31, 2027. The Toronto Caribbean Carnival lists its Grand Parade for the same day, July 31, 2027. Our Toronto Caribbean Carnival page explains the parade.

Two large events, plus the summer holiday season in Ontario, means a busy first weekend for hotels, restaurants and roads. If you plan to attend both, treat July 31 as a day for one or the other, or use an hourly booking to move between them with the most predictable timing. Our planners can help you sequence it.
Where Sobeys Stadium sits, and why it is not a downtown trip
Most of Toronto's major stadiums are close to the lake and the downtown core. The tennis venue is not. It is in the north-west of the city, so the trip from a downtown hotel is a cross-city drive. As approximate figures, it is about 20–25 km from the Financial District or Yorkville, and about 25 km from Pearson Airport. The usual drive is 30–50 minutes outside peaks, and match-day traffic can stretch that. These are approximations; the booker calculates the exact distance for your addresses.

Because this is a long cross-town trip, many guests choose a chauffeur not for luxury but for predictability. You are taking the same highways as thousands of other fans, at the same hour, in the height of summer.
Arriving from abroad: Pearson, Billy Bishop and the airports
Most international visitors fly into Toronto Pearson (YYZ). Our Pearson airport limo page explains terminals, customs timing and pickup. If you fly with a carrier that uses Billy Bishop on the waterfront, read the Billy Bishop page.

Our airport service includes:
- Flight tracking on every airport pickup.
- Up to 60 minutes of free waiting after landing on an international arrival, and 30 minutes on a domestic one.
- Name-board meet-and-greet inside arrivals as an add-on, with an alias on the board if you prefer privacy.
- Child, toddler and booster seats on request at booking.
Entry rules depend on your passport. The Government of Canada explains the electronic travel authorization (eTA) for air travel at canada.ca. Check it before you book flights. Our travelling to Toronto guide and inbound airport transfer page give the wider picture.
Getting there: the honest comparison
Toronto's transit network is useful, and sometimes it is the best choice. Here is the comparison.
| Option | Typical time (downtown to stadium) | Cost note | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| TTC subway plus bus or walk | About 45–75 min | Lowest | Visitors who like transit and travel light |
| Rideshare | 30–60 min plus pickup wait | Surge-priced after matches | Solo fans who accept uncertainty |
| Taxi | 30–50 min plus queue | Metered | Short, unplanned trips |
| Own car and event parking | 30–50 min plus parking time | Fuel plus parking | Groups who know the area |
| Private chauffeur | 30–50 min | Fixed fare via booker | Hosts, hospitality clients, groups, late returns |
The TTC, Toronto's transit commission, publishes service alerts at ttc.ca. If you are travelling light, staying along the subway and comfortable with a walk, it is a legitimate choice, and sometimes the quickest option before a match.
The chauffeur wins in three cases. First, when you are hosting guests and need a calm arrival. Second, when you finish after dark and want the car ready. Third, when you are moving between a downtown dinner and the stadium and cannot afford a mistimed rideshare.
Who books with us for the National Bank Open
Corporate hosts. Sponsors and companies entertaining clients want a clear itinerary: a hotel pickup, a stadium drop-off point, a fixed return. A First Class Sedan (Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series or similar) takes up to 3 passengers with 2 large and 2 cabin bags. Corporate accounts with monthly invoicing are set up through corporate accounts.
Groups and families. A Luxury SUV (Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon Denali or similar) takes up to 6 passengers. An Executive Sprinter takes up to 12 with 12 bags, and it works for a team, a coaching group or a large family.
VIP guests. If you need an unobtrusive arrival and a clear exit, see our VIP chauffeur service. Our chauffeurs do not photograph clients or post about trips, and we sign NDAs on request.
Visitors from the USA, Europe and the Middle East. A single booking can cover your Pearson arrival, your hotel and your match days. The Toronto black car service page covers the city in general.
We serve guests, sponsors, fans and support staff.
Hosting clients at a tennis tournament
Companies often use a tournament week to entertain customers. The hosting job has two halves: the match itself, which the organiser and your ticket supplier control, and the journey on either side, which you control. A late guest at the gate is a poor start, and a guest who cannot find a ride home is a worse ending.
We suggest sending your guests one message the day before, with the pickup time, the vehicle type and the chauffeur's name. Give the planner each guest's pickup address and a contact number for the host. If some guests are flying in from the USA or overseas, book their airport transfers in the same account so that you receive one invoice. Corporate travel managers can read about the corporate chauffeur service for how accounts, cost-centre references and monthly invoicing work.
Summer driving in Toronto
July and August bring road works, lake-effect storms, festival closures and weekend traffic on the highways that lead out of the city. A Friday afternoon is the worst time to go anywhere, and the start of the August long weekend in Ontario is worse still. Our planners watch conditions and will suggest an earlier pickup if the day demands it.
If you are visiting from abroad, remember that Canadian distances are given in kilometres, speed limits are in km/h, and a drive that looks short on a map can take an hour at peak. When your chauffeur proposes a pickup time, trust it.
Where to stay
Summer visitors usually pick between the downtown core, Yorkville and the waterfront. Our hotel pages show how arrivals work at the Fairmont Royal York, the Four Seasons and the InterContinental Toronto Centre. The hotels hub lists them all.
Staying near the stadium, in the north-west or the northern suburbs, reduces the cross-city drive but moves you away from dining and sightseeing. For Vaughan and Markham stays, our city pages show distances and approaches.
A match-day plan that works
- Midday. Pickup from the hotel, timed 90 minutes before your first match of interest to allow for traffic and entry screening at the gate.
- Drop-off. The chauffeur approaches the stadium by the route best suited to current conditions, and agrees a return point with you.
- During the match. If you have an hourly booking, the car stays nearby. If you have a fixed return, the chauffeur arrives at the agreed window.
- After the last match. Message the chauffeur when you leave the seats, not when you reach the gate.
- Evening. Dinner downtown or a late flight from Pearson.
For the most flexible day, read about hourly chauffeur service and our wider event transportation approach.
Combining Toronto and Montreal
Because the tournament splits across two cities, some travellers see the women's event in Montreal and the men's in Toronto, or travel between them. The Montreal car service page and the Montréal-Trudeau airport page explain the Montreal side, and our city-to-city car service page covers the drive between the cities, which is a long trip; most people fly or take the train.
Vehicles you can book

Prices, cancellations and event terms
